The shop is where you can spend medals on costumes, music, challenges, and comics.
amiibo[edit]
Bye-Bye BoxBoy! is compatible with the Qbby amiibo figure and Kirby figures from either the Kirby or Smash Bros. series.
The Qbby figure was exclusive to Japan and unlocks the Qucy costume and the ability to change the screen color between original, Game Boy, and monochrome. Both unlocks can also be obtained if you have save data for BoxBoy! and BoxBoxBoy! or you complete all stages perfectly including the challenges.
The Kirby figures unlock an additional costumes for Qbby of the scanned in character. The boxes that Qbby creates will look like star blocks from the Kirby series.
