The First Observer[edit]
When you return to the Reader Room, ClavisAngemon introduces you to Azulongmon, the Observer of Normal Tamers. Azulongmon informs you that as a new Tamer, you need a Digi-Farm. Then, Azulongmon gives you your first task: Return to Data Forest and get 100% Scan Data of a Digimon.

Before going to Data Forest, you can take a look around Digi-Central.

- Mr. Gure - talks about Tamer Points and getting rewards for reaching certain milestones.
- Kudamon - talks about how to use Wireless related features such as Wireless Battles, Wireless Training, and Digimon Matching.

- Agumon - talks about Tamers, Tamer Ranks, Digivolution, Degeneration, and the Digi-Farm in greater detail.

- Leomon - guarding the entrance to Digi-Arena. You will learn more about this in the future.

Data Forest[edit]
Return to Digi-Central(1), and go to the green portal. Briefly, Terriermon will inform you about addresses which will be given to you automatically when available. After this, go to the green portal again and choose Data Forest. Shortly after arriving at Data Forest, you will meet Calumon and Gaomon, who are being attacked by Goburimon. Trying to defend them but not knowing how, Gaomon teaches you how to batttle. After learning how to battle, you fight Goburimon.
Boss Digimon

This boss battle acts as a tutorial which allows you to learn the Battle mechanics in actual combat.
After you defeat Goburimon, Gaomon thanks you by giving 100% Scan Data of Poyomon. Not long after, Azulongmon calls you from your Digivice to inform you that you have completed the task, which means you get your own Digi-Farm. Calumon, wanting to help you, offers to help manage your Digi-Farm. Azulongmon ends the call by instructing you to return to Digi-Central and check your Farm.
Returning to Digi-Central, Terriermon tells you that you must step on the purple portal in order to go to your Digi-Farm. At the Digi-Farm, Calumon greets you and tells you everything you need to know about the Digi-Farm. Azulongmon calls you up on your Digivice and stresses that mastering the Digi-Farm is the key to being a great Tamer. He then proceeds to ask you a favor to look for Gabumon in Data Forest as he is taking too long to return, to which you accept.
