"Enchantments" - Sing-Song[edit]

Main Objective[edit]

  • Invade Lord Darius' keep, and slay him

Sub Objectives[edit]

  • Build a Library and use the Warlocks to research new spells
  • Train up your creatures in the Training Room

Strategy[edit]

This is the second tutorial level, and is also simple. There is no special tactic required.

To get your dungeon started, first mine the gold to the north, then build any necessary rooms. Start with a 3x5 lair, a 3x4 hatchery, a 3x5 training room, and a 3x5 library. Your library is best placed to the east, against the impenetrable wall, and the training room should be to the north (the direction of attack.)

Your warlocks should research at the library, but a few can also be placed in the training room as well. This allows them to be an effective support unit during combat by granting them a fireball attack.

Your mentor marks these two walls.

Your dungeon will be breached by three dwarves tunneling from the north, but any goblins in the training room will keep them at bay.

When the time is right, your mentor will tag two walls as red, which is a signal that your army is more than ready to defeat the enemies. When your imps break down either wall, you will encounter the first wave of eigth dwarves. Defeat them to provoke Lord Darius and five of his dwarves to enter the dungeon and attack.

Secrets[edit]

There is a mana boost in the dungeon, but collecting it before Horny arrives is difficult. As soon as you breach the two red-tagged walls, the enemy attacks. The best method is to carefully use the pickup and drop mechanic to delay the dwarves as long as possible, and have the imps attempt to claim territory behind the dwarves.

The item itself only gives a mana boost. By the time you reach it, it is of no practical value aside from a few lightning bolts.
