Welcome back to the first territorial area of Foskeivo. Once Sygnus has reappeared on the screen in mid-air, then landed on the ground after his Vernier jump-jets have charged up for a third time, start marching to the right as two Karura come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of these to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you (while firing shots at you). Once you have fired off enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, drop off the edge of the platform to land in the dirt below as five Hanbaga come zigzagging towards you, while firing some fast-moving projectiles at you; once you've fired a shot at each of these, to destroy them, two more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of these, to destroy them, two more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you - and once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of these, to destroy them, a Haken will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you fire enough of your own shots at this to destroy it, a tenth Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at this Karura to destroy it, five more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you, while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of these to destroy them, a Ball will come floating towards you - and once you have fired a shot at it to destroy it, two more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired one shot at both of them to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, two more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, five more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of these, to destroy them, three more Balls will come floating towards you. Once you have fired one shot at each of them to destroy them two more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, activate your Vernier jump-jets in order to be carried up to the next platform. Once you have landed on the next platform, continue marching to the right as you come to an enormous "Kyōdai Taihō" tank cannon that is firing laser beams at you - and once you have fired enough shots at it (to blast it off its stand), two more Balls will come floating towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to destroy them, three more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you, while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you; once you've fired a shot at each of these to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you fire enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, three more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, you will come up to an enormous "Goruba" space probe that is firing shots at you from each of its three windows (and homing missiles at you from directly below its second window). Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of the Goruba's windows to destroy them, Sygnus will not freeze in mid-step, and "CAME TO AN END OF INTRODUCTION" will not appear on the screen.
Two more Karura will now come marching towards you, while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of these ones to destroy them, two more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you. Once you have fired a shot at each of these three (to destroy them) three more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them another Haken will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it a Raiden will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it three more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you fire enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them five more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them three more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, two more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you've fired enough of your own shots at both of these (to destroy them), three more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing more fast-moving projectiles at you - and once you've fired a shot at each of them (to destroy them), two more Balls will come floating towards you. Once you've fired a shot at both of them (to destroy them), three more Karura will drop down in front of you; once you've fired off enough shots at each of them to destroy them, two more Balls will come floating towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to destroy them, two more Hanbaga will come zigzagging towards you while firing some more fast-moving projectiles at you - and once you have fired off a shot at both of them to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, three more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of these to destroy them, another Raiden will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at this to destroy it three more Balls will come floating towards you - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, drop down off the edge of the platform to land on the dirt below, as two more Balls come floating towards you. Once you have fired a shot at both of them to destroy them, activate your Vernier jump-jets for a second time in order to be carried up to the next platform; once you've landed on the next platform, continue marching to the right, as three more Karura come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you've fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, you will come to another enormous "Kyōdai Taihō" tank cannon, that is firing laser beams at you - and once you've fired enough shots at it to blast it off its stand, a third Haken will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired off enough of your own shots at it to destroy it a sixteenth Ball will come floating towards you; once you have fired a shot at it to destroy it two more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them you will come to a second enormous "Goruba" space probe that is firing shots at you from each of its three windows (and homing missiles at you from directly below its second window) - and once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of its windows to destroy them a fiftieth Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it two more Balls will come floating towards you; once you fire a shot at both of them to destroy them, a nineteenth Ball will come floating towards you. Once you fire a shot at it (to destroy it), Sygnus will freeze in mid-step and the text "CONGRATULATIONS! ROUND 5 CLEARED." will appear on the screen and you'll receive 10 bonus points for every tenth of a second you have remaining - and the text "CONTINUED ON NEXT ROUND" will then appear on the screen before it fades out to the shot of Sygnus's operator inside his cockpit, who will then proceed to the territorial area of Esperuntuwa for the second time. A lot more Tetra Pods and Tetra Balls will be present in it on this strike, compared to the first one.
