30 Lives[edit]

At the title screen, press Up dpad Up dpad Down dpad Down dpad Left dpad Right dpad Left dpad Right dpad B button A button Start button.

Activate full power-ups[edit]

During the game, press Start button to pause the game, and then enter Up dpad Up dpad Down dpad Down dpad Left dpad Right dpad Left dpad Right dpad B button A button. Then press Start button again to unpause the game. This may be used once per level.

Sound Test[edit]

To access the sound test mode, press and hold A button+B button while turning on the NES/Famicom. While holding these buttons down, press Start button to access the title screen (if you're not there already), and press Start button as if to begin a new game. Then the sound test menu will appear.
