Mega Man begins the game with only his standard Mega Buster. By beating the bosses, he unlocks their weapons.

Mega Buster[edit]

This is Mega Man's standard weapon. It fires small yellow pellets that can damage enemies. Up to 3 pellets can be shot at a time. When playing as Mega Man C, you can also do a charged shot by holding and releasing the attack button.

Rolling Cutter[edit]

This is Cut Man's special weapon. A sharp pair of scissors that can be thrown like a boomerang. This weapon is Bomb Man's weakness and it can also slice his bombs in half before they explode (even the big one). When playing as Cut Man, he can throw 2 Rolling Cutters at a time, while Mega Man can only throw one.

Super Arm[edit]

This is Guts Man's special weapon. It allows you to pick up Guts Blocks and throw them at enemies. However, this weapon requires Guts Blocks to be in sight, so if there are no one around, the weapon becomes useless. This weapon is Cut Man's weakness and can you guess why? Obviously, because rock beats scissors in Rock Paper Scissors!

Ice Slasher[edit]

This is Ice Man's special weapon. It shoots an icy blast that can freeze enemies for a while. Aside from Mega Man 1, Ice Slasher can also damage frozen foes. This weapon is Fire Man's weakness and it can freeze his fire wave critical attack. When playing as Ice Man, he can use frozen enemies as platforms to reach higher areas.

Hyper Bomb[edit]

This is Bomb Man's special weapon. It allows you to throw bombs at your enemies. When you play as Bomb Man, you can throw them in various directions using the D-Pad or Joystick. This weapon is Ice Man's weakness and it can break his icicles after he summons them in his critical attack.

Fire Storm[edit]

This is Fire Man's special weapon. It shoots a massive barrier of fire and summons the rotating orb around the user which can also deal damage to enemies. This weapon is a weakness of both Oil Man and Yellow Devil.

Thunder Beam[edit]

This is Elec Man's special weapon. It shoots a high voltage shot of electricity at the enemies in 3 directions: up, down and forward. When you play as Elec Man, his Thunder Beam can be used to charge up Elec Blocks and make them move. This weapon is Time Man's weakness.

Time Slow[edit]

This is Time Man's special weapon. It temporarily slows down time, making everything move slow. This is the weapon with the least ammo in the game (you can use it only twice). This weapon is Guts Man's weakness and he is actually the only boss in the game who takes damage from Time Slow.

Oil Slider[edit]

This is Oil Man's special weapon. It fires a glob of oil which can be ridden like a snowboard. When Oil Slider is used in water, the glob will float up and it can be ridden on the water surfaces. The sled is much more powerful than the glob and it can take out enemies' shields, but the user will also take damage if the enemy remains. This is a weapon with the most amount of ammo in the game (you can use it 28 times). This weapon is Elec Man's weakness but be careful when using it against him. You need to jump off the slider as soon as you hit Elec Man or else you will take damage too. The slider can be dismounted by holding "Up" and pressing the jump button. The dismount also allows you to do a double jump which can be helpful too.

Mega Kick[edit]

This is Mega/Rock's move. It's a very short range kick that makes attacking bosses a complete pain in the butt.

Roll Swing[edit]

This is Roll's move. Another melee attack where Roll swings her broom (or something else depending on her costume). The broom can be swinged twice if you press the attack button when standing on the ground.

Proto Strike[edit]

This is Proto Man's weapon. It shoots a powerful shot similar to Mega Man's charge shot, which can be fired rapidly. It deals a good damage against bosses and can knockback Robot Masters on Easy and Normal difficulties (charge shot can also do the same thing).

  1. The first value is the damage dealt with the normal shot; the second value is the damage dealt with the charged shot (when playing as Mega Man C).
  2. The first value is the damage dealt with the glob; the second value is the damage dealt when hitting an enemy with the oil sled.
  3. The first value is the damage dealt by Time Slow itself (used by both Mega Man and Time Man); the second value is the damage dealt by Time Man's clock hands.
  4. when Copy Robot uses any special weapon, he'll take 6 damage after he gets hit by a weapon that counters it and will be knocked back (for example, when he got hit by Hyper Bomb when using Ice Slasher). This applies only for Easy and Normal modes.
  5. when Wily uses any special weapon, he'll take 4 damage after he gets hit by a weapon that counters it and will be knocked back (for example, when he got hit by Oil Slider when using Thunder Beam). This applies only for Normal and Hard modes.
