Copper Canyon[edit]

Copper Canyon is a very simple track, with plenty of mild turns across the track and no major shortcuts. Off the starting line is a long stretch of road with a series of tunnels, which is where the race can really get hectic due to the narrow space. After that, the road widens into a two lane speedway with a dirt path in between. The road then winds beside a dam, becoming briefly narrow again. Racers can also go up the ramp to the right to drive on the dam's ledge, but falling into the gap between the road and the dam results in a vehicle reset. After the dam, the road widens again. Following some mild bends, there will be an uphill portion of the road that leads to the final stretch before the finish line. Racers can take an alternate path by aiming at the left of the track as the road reaches the peak of the hill, making the car land on a dirt path to the left of the main track.

Golden Rule[edit]

The starting line is on a four-lane divided highway. After going through a tunnel and making a right turn, the right lane goes through a tunnel at ground level, while the left lane rises into a tunnel carved from rock. The right tunnel brings you into a town, where the road gently curves right. There is an alley shortcut to the right, which the left tunnel perfectly sets racers up for. It is important to note that weather-related power-ups will always go down the alley unless they were launched in the left tunnel. After the alley, the main road becomes divided once again with intermittent barriers (and a giant boulder that reduces the lanes to two). Then comes a massive drop. Then, after another tunnel, there are several bends through a wooded area, and eventually rocky cliffs. At one point, there are a series of bushes on the right leading to the entrance of the track's second shortcut, an abandoned mine ("Is that gold?"). Following the mine, there is a downhill section with slight curves that leads back to finish line.

Silver Falls[edit]

Silver Falls is home to the longest shortcut in the game. Off the starting line is a winding road through rocky cliffs. Racers then drive on a beach that gently curves left, though the turn gets sharper towards the end. To the right is open water, which will result in a vehicle reset, but it is difficult to do this on purpose. After exiting the beach and making a right turn, the racer will come across switchbacks—the first set of two in the game. Rookie AI drivers will waste time driving through the switchbacks, but it is easier to cut across it. After a straightaway, racers have the opportunity to enter a rather long shortcut on the left. The main road meanders through a series of sharp curves. Although the shortcut has plenty of trees in the way, it takes racers on an almost straight path and brings the racer through a waterfall. The final shortcut, on the right, takes racers past a large house.
