Controls[edit]

  • Joystick: Use the joystick to direct the Pink Panther up, left, down and right; you can also make him inflate the objects by pressing the button thrice, redirect his sleepwalking employers by pushing the stick left or right and pressing the button once, bring up that selection menu by pushing the stick down and pressing the button and activate items by pushing the stick up and pressing the button. On the selection menu, you can scroll through the items by pushing the stick left or right, select the bell by pushing the stick down, activate a currently-selected item by pressing the button, and return to the game by pushing the stick up and pressing the button - and you'll also have to keep the Pink Panther awake without waking anybody else up.

Pink Panther[edit]

PP Pink Panther.png

The eponymous protagonist of the game; after losing all his money due to his excessive way of living, he is now looking for a job along the lines of "butler" (as it will allow him to live in comfortable homes, and steal from the owners at night in order to afford a holiday!). However, when he applies for the jobs, he discovers all his employers are sleepwalkers, so he will have to guide them carefully through their houses (so he can steal all their valuables without waking them) - but Inspector Clouseau is also sneaking around the houses, without his Spanish assistant Sergeant Deux-Deux, trying to catch the Pink Panther, and as mentioned on the main page he does not sleep. The Pink Panther can also inflate certain objects, including a dummy of himself that will cause his employers to turn around and catch Clouseau's attention and a hole that will cause Clouseau to fall into it; he can also direct his employers from a distance, by placing catapults and boards to guide them around obstacles. It is also worth noting that he cannot walk past the gramophones in the houses as they will start playing music and wake his employers up if he does - which means that he'll have to use the doors to warp past them (but Clouseau may be walking past the one he reemerges from, which means instant capture).
