Dindom Dries[edit]

The Dindom Dries. The red arrow marks the location of the hidden town of Shamwood.

For sure there are no deserts in the Celtic Nations, in fact they're the most rainy lands in Europe. The Celtic landscape most similar to a desert is the Burren in South-Western Ireland, a land of bare rock because of the wind and the harsh climate.

Anyway, in Quest 64 the Celtland people of Greenoch and Shamwood explain that the devastation of the Dindom Dries was caused by the power of the Eletale Book in the past and by that of the Fire Ruby more recently.

Boil Hole Cave[edit]

The Boil Hole cave is made of four domes connected by tunnels. In case you lose your orientation and go back by mistake, here is a brief description of the four domes:

  1. a circular volcanic crater, surrounded by the path;
  2. a large magma river, initially similar to the previous dome, but bigger;
  3. a dome of solid volacanic rock, that looks quite labyrinthine, but there are actually no forks in the path;
  4. a large dome with several small craters, where Fargo awaits the three elemental jewels carried by Brian.

By the time you get here, you should probably have three elements at high level, so you shouldn't have any problem fighting the enemies using Earth's Magic Barrier and Water's Healing.
