ROM² Karaoke Volume 1 (ロムロムカラオケ ボリューム1?) is a karaoke game developed and published by NEC Avenue for the PC Engine CD-ROM² in 1989. This is the first CD Rom from a series of five karaoke discs from NEC Avenue. As a karaoke title, music is played without any singing, and the lyrics of the song are presented on the screen, highlighted in time with when they are meant to be sung by the player. While the song is playing, simple animations with drawn sprites or slideshows of digitized pictures are displayed. All the lyrics are in Japanese. Vol.1 contains eight songs:

  1. Mugo.N...Iroppoi
  2. Waku Waku Sasete
  3. True Love
  4. Tatoo
  5. Namida O Misenaide
  6. Ai Ga Tomaranai
  7. Tenshi To Yu-Waku and Kataritsugu Aini.
