The TurboGrafx-CD (originally released in Japan as PC-Engine CD-ROM²) is a CD-ROM add-on for the TurboGrafx-16. The TurboGrafx-CD was redesigned under various names, including the Turbo Duo, which integrated the TurboGrafx-16 hardware (rather than having to be attached to one) and could play all its HuCard games in addition to the CD games.
Unlike the TurboGrafx-16, TurboGrafx-CD games do not feature region locking. All games will play on all versions of the CD system, although a particular System Card or Arcade Card is required to run them.
