Controls[edit]

Return of the Jedi handlebar.jpg
  • Handlebar: Use the analogue handlebar to direct the Speeder Bike on which Princess Leia is mounted, the Scout Walker and the Millennium Falcon around the screen; they are always moving forward, but you may direct them anywhere. Press either thumb button on either side of the handlebar to make the current vehicle fire shots at the enemies - although both buttons have the same effect, that second one is intended for left-handed players.

Rebel Forces[edit]

The protagonists of this game; in the first scene, the player must guide Princess Leia through the forest on Endor to the Ewok Village on a Speeder Bike, while avoiding trees and destroying enemy Stormtroopers (the Ewoks themselves have also set various snares to halt the Stormtroopers including ropes stretched between the trees and logs that can be pushed together, but Leia can also end up being a victim of them). After reaching the Ewok Village and joining C3-PO and R2-D2 the player must guide Chewbacca through another part of the forest in a Scout Walker while destroying enemy Scout Walkers (and avoiding rolling logs and catapulted rocks) - but at that same time, Lando Calrissian shall be flying towards the Death Star in the Millennium Falcon while destroying enemy TIE Fighters so the game will switch back and forth between them every few seconds. Once Calrissian is inside the Death Star, the player must direct the Millennium Falcon through a narrow tube leading to its reactor and shoot it, then turn around and escape from the Death Star before it explodes (as the blast can also destroy the Millennium Falcon); the game will then start over again at a higher level of difficulty, but the scenes shall be randomised for added variety. After clearing eight cycles, the player receives a 100000-point bonus as Yoda appears and says "You are now a true Jedi Knight" from the TMS-5220, and a gold star will be shown next to the player's initials on the high-score table after he or she has entered them.
