Act 1[edit]

Since there are multiple paths you can take to reach the goal, the possible outcomes are organized into numbers. Any italic instructions, telling you where to go, should be followed. Otherwise, a lot of confusion would follow.

This level is zone 1 for Sonic, and zone 2 for Blaze. It is considered the easiest level. Begin the level by running. Then grab the rings and hit the spring. Path Split: Did you get to the vine or miss it? If you missed, follow instruction 1. If you made it, follow instruction 2.

1.If you miss the target, avoid the spikes, run, and collect some rings.Then you can go down onto a spring and make it to the second vine (If you miss the vine, just run through the speed boosts to the spring and you'll get to the same spot.). Go upside down and you'll hit the 360. "Go on to instruction 3."

2. If you hit the target, bounce on to the vine and you'll start sliding.. Slide onto the speed boost and then keep running over the wood. Continue running until you see the twisting wood. Keep on going to the ramp. Quickly make the jump onto the platform. Jump from platform to platform onto the upper path. If you missed the path, go to instruction 3. If you made the jump past the falling platforms, go to instruction 4.

3. Use the speed boost to run through the gigantic 360 loop. Run down the downward slope. Spring up to the top of a cliff, and defeat the enemy.Take the speed boost upside-down, and take the vine all the way down.(Note: The vine could blast you upward if you approach it fast enough. If so, go to the part in instruction 4 about the wood block.) Now find another speed boost and run at it. Go upside-down and into the spring.Do it again. Now try and get the flying enemy. Run from the ramp to the vine to the trampoline. Now bounce up on the spring to the trampoline, then go to the green platform. Hit the rainbow ring, Go on to instruction 5.

4. Along here you will get more bonuses than if you fall, although they both lead to a trampoline. Run onto the spring and try to hit the rings. "If you miss the rings, try to find the spot on 3 that describes the downward slope" . Quickly . defeat the enemy and jump onto the wooden block. Hit the spring and continue running. Directly after going upside down, you'll find yourself on a trampoline. Jump onto the rainbow-colored ring. (If you miss it, just jump repeatedly on the green platform.If you miss the platform, just use the spring to get back onto the trampoline. ) Now go to instruction 5.

5. Now go to the spinning-bungee-spring-thingy. (SBST) Bounce on the spring to try to get to the balloon. Now defeat the enemy! Take the speed dash up the wall, spring upwards, and get the balloon.Now use the spring to blast into the enemy. Run around and upside-down to the enemy. Jump over the retracting spikes to get the flying enemy. Try not to miss it; it charges up your Dash Gauge. Spring onto the speed boost onto the spring onto the wall and upside-down loop. Bounce onto the wooden platform. If you want, you can dash onto it to get tons of rings. There's a spring that pushes you back at the end. Go right and hit the checkpoint.

After that go on a spring down to the trampoline, which is where the special generator is. What's a special generator? Go to the section Chaos Emeralds to find out. Then use the trampoline to bounce up to the platform. Go upside-down through the loop and down the wall. Use the spring to run right. Go upside-down and use another spring to thre speed-boost. Get the invincibility and use it to jump the ramp, and kill the enemy with the spring.. Take the road and get to the next checkpoint.

Take the trampoline to a ring. Then get the enemy. If your invincibility wears off, don't worry. Get another item to get it back. Slide on the vine to find another special generator...and some springs. Get the rings but miss the enemy. You can go onto the vine for extra rings. Now blast up the wall. Run all the way to the SBST. Step on the enemy, grab the rings, take the springs, and jump onto the next spring. Now run downhill to the goal! You beat act 1!

Act 2[edit]

Begin by running. Bounce onto the spring and collect the rings. Run onto the springs and bounce away. Use the ramp to jump into a ring. If you miss the ring, go to 1. If you hit it, go to 2.

1. Run down the twisty path of bark. If you want to, you can put on the brakes and jump to a spot with an enemy that you can defeat to fill up the Dash Gauge a little. Run from spring to spring to spring, onto the green platform. (You can run off the green platform and attack the tree stump to get invincibility.) Bounce onto the ring. Take the speed boost to the spring to the green platform. For those seeking Chaos Emeralds, you can jump down the vine (jump in mid-slide) to find the special mechanism. If you do so, go on to instruction 1.5 If you don't, get onto the green platform. Take the trampoline onto the moving platform. Now go on to 2.5 Then go to the next trampoline. Grab the power-up, hit the speed boost and spring, and run onto the vine. Try to collect rings while avoiding enemies when you launch.

1.5. Run onto the spring. If you have invincibility, good. With or without, try and beat the enemy. Then get onto the vine and take the spring to the enemy. Keep on going. Now go on to 3.

2. Use the spring to bounce up the slope. Take the next spring onto the ramp. Get to the ring.

2.5 Run onto the speed boost. Zoom from the speed dash to the spring. Use the vine to get into the air. Avoid the enemies, then get onto the slope and grab the power-up. Go all the way upside-down. Go on to 3.

3. Now run down the slope. Get the checkpoint and run up the vines. If you miss the vines, use the spring to bounce onto the ledge. Now jump left and go onto the vine. Once at the vine, dash. Past the vine, use the spring to get to the spring-bungee thing. Dash up the ramp with the speed boost. Use another speed boost up the vine. Go upside down a couple of times, then run down a wall. Bounce off the spring and bounce up to the next one. Beat the enemy and run up the twisting wood. Go up the ramp and use the green platform to bounce up. Run up the wall, and bounce onto the vine. Bounce onto the spring and onto the red ring. Take the three rainbow rings onto the tree stump and destroy it. Then destroy the enemy. Beat both enemies, then run onto the spring. Bounce onto the platform and onto the spring. Take the ramp onto the vine. Destroy the barrier then run upside down. Get onto the grassy ledge, defeat the enemy, and get onto another vine. The vine will give into a spring; go upwards. (A small notice: Going left from here shows you another path that is possible to reach by jumping at the right moment. However, the writer of this article can't perfect the timing, so this path is not covered.) Beat the enemy, go right, and trampoline onto the path. Run through and onto the vine, then grab the checkpoint. You can go back and purposefully go under the vine. If you do so, go on to 3.5. Otherwise, run up the twisting wood to the speed boost. Go upside-down, and zoom past the vine onto the loop. Go downward. Now go on to 4.

3.5. Run down the slope onto the spring. Bounce up, or you could miss the target and go underneath to find another spinning mechanism. Then get back to the vine, and bounce onto the platform. Destroy the enemy, go upside-down, and hit the bungee-spring thingy. Break the barriers, beat the enemies, and take the path upwards. Go on to 4

4. Run to the black doom ball, and use dash to race and beat it. Quickly dash onto the ramp and fly past the doom ball. Then run...right into the goal! Now it's boss fight time!

Chaos Emerald[edit]

Grab onto the special generator. Hold Y and watch your gauge drain.Eventually, you open up a portal to the SPECIAL STAGE screen. (If any amount of white or no yellow/red is showing, you're not charged up enough.) Touch the screen. Now keep your stylus ready! Use it to guide sonic right to the first gigantic row of rings. Now go left, then right to get more rings. If you got them all, you should have 30 rings now. Go left and right quickly to get the mini-rows and then the big one. Next move to the middle, left, right, middle, right, right to collect each row of rings. Make it onto the dash and collect all the rings. Then, grab the balloon. Touch 1 2 3 in order to get a ring bonus. If you have all the rings so far, you have 145 rings. You need 100 to get past the checkpoint. Now be prepared for another go. Right, middle right, middle, middle left, left all in order very fast. Next, do that backwards, except at the end, you'll see a balloon. Now press 1, 2, 3, 4 in order. (If you run out of time you don't get the bonus!) Collecting all the rings to this points gets you 190 rings. Quickly go left to get some. Then go right to get another gigantic row that requires you to move from right to right-middle quickly. Avoid the spikes in the middle! Get the rings on the left side, then right side. Then avoid the spikes on the left. Then there is a row on the left. Get it. Next, you'll see a wall of spikes with a hole that has rings in it on the middle-left. Get the rings and avoid the spikes! Then you'll see another one, except the hole is on the middle-left. Next get the one in the middle, then go left-right-left-right to get all those rings. Get the bonus by tapping 1, 2, 3, 4. If you got all the rings, you'll have 290. If you have more than 200, you'll get the red chaos emerald! Now just...6....more to go!

Boss[edit]

Rings Possible: Twelve. Don't lose too many!

HP (hit points): 8 hits will be required to kill the boss.

The boss-Eggman's weird robot-snake like thing, referred to as the Robo-Snake. Quickly run around the stage collecting rings. When you see Robo-Snake pull his head back, run around absentmindedly. If he slams his head down, you should be able to get out of the way. Now quickly jump onto the weak spot on his head. When he pulls his head back and says, "Get ready to be schooled", RUN! This is a OHKO move (one hit knock out.) Now get on his head again! Get how the gameplay works? Make sure not to get pinned on the edge of the platform during one of his moves. Usually, though, just running around makes him miss. When he is at 5 HP, he'll take his head off and begin rolling it around at you. This is tough for beginners to dodge, but jump over it when it rolls at you by hitting the opposite button (if it rolls left at you, jump right, and vice versa) on the D-Pad while jumping. When his HP lowers more, he begins to roll faster. Continue jumping on his weak spot. However, be careful-at the lower HP levels, he'll keep his head down for a shorter time. When he hits 2 HP he'll go to "critical mode", where he'll speed up in everything he does. Continue using these strategies and you should be fine. Finally, you'll get his HP down to 0. As Sonic, you'll move on to Water Palace. As Blaze, you'll move on to Altitude Limit. Either way, you have a hard stage coming up, so be careful!
