Raine Sage is the local teacher for the small town of Iselia and has lived there since her younger brother Genis was a small child. She has vague memories of a time before Iselia, but has trouble placing where those memories came from. It is in an attempt to place the memory of a particular ruin that has driven her to be passionate about archeology. Her passion borders on obsessiveness, a trait commented on by the other characters on numerous occasions. She is the healer of the group, and thus is not a skilled fighter and not capable of dealing or receiving much damage.
