First released in Japan on September 22, 1999, the PlayStation version is the first and earliest build of the game. It features the worst graphics out of all the versions, with no anti-aliasing applied to three-dimensional models; this version features two difficulty modes: Easy, where the player starts with an extreme advantage over enemies, and hard, where the player has no advantage.
