The game starts out in a city where Soma and Mina are walking around the city. Talking about the events that happened in the prequel. After some talking, a women appears. She introduces herself as Celia and she is after Soma. She then summons monsters to attack Soma. Genya appears to tell Soma not to fight, but Celia creates a barrier to stop Genya from interfering. Genya throws a knife for Soma to use and here you will start the game.

Coming right after the skeleton is a armor knight. Again, it's easy and should go down in 2-3 hits. You'll gain its soul once it dies.

And the last enemy you'll face is a golem, it's tougher than the two combined, kinda like a mini-boss. The golem will take possibly 10-12 hits for it to die. You'll gain its soul once the golem dies.

After the golem dies. Celia will teleport back to her castle. You and Genya will talk about why Soma couldn't use the souls he gained back in the prequel and about Celia and her goal. Afterwards a few days will pass ingame and you'll be in Lost Village.
