All enemies can damage you for one point of health if you get hit.  Likewise, most enemies are capable of shooting projectiles at you, which also cause one point of damage if you are hit.  Enemies which are listed as flying enemies are capable of moving all across the screen, regardless of the layout of the stage.
== Enemy facts ==
* All enemies can damage you for one point of health if you get hit.  Likewise, most enemies are capable of shooting projectiles at you, which also cause one point of damage if you are hit.
* Enemies which are listed as flying enemies are capable of moving all across the screen, regardless of the layout of the stage.
* Enemies flash when they are hit.  Flashing enemies, including enemies which are about to die, can still hurt you if you touch them.
* When an enemy hits you, you are bounced back in the direction opposite of the one you are currently facing.  If you are hit right when you enter a new screen, you will be bounced out of the screen.
* Remaining enemies do not reset their position in the room if you immediately return to a screen that you were just kicked out of.  You must let the enemies of your new screen appear before returning the screen you just left.
* Enemies do not respawn until every enemy on the screen is defeated.  Therefore if you leave one enemy in a room, you will only ever encounter that one remaining enemy every time you visit that room until you kill it.
