The Sun Giant makes its way through the clouds around the castle and finds the genie accompanied by Flag. A battle begins and after a mighty struggle the Sun Giant defeats the genie. But then Flag reveals a secret; what appeared to be the genie was really just a mouse who was trapped inside the urn and absorbed some of the genie's power. The real genie is a spirit who now inhabits Flag's body. (It's no wonder that Osmond wasn't that impressed by what looked like the Dark Genie when he first saw it.) Save and prepare to enter a dungeon, then enter the castle. You are met by Seda who explains that it was he who created the genie 400 years ago. At that time there was a war between East and West, and rather than be defeated Seda made a deal with a wizard to give himself more power. Using this power he defeated the opposing army, but the power soon grew beyond his control. First it destroyed Seda's fiancee and then nearly destroyed the world before it was sealed in the urn. Seda cast the Forbidden Spell to bring him to the future so he could find a way to defeat the genie. In fact the genie can't be destroyed now, but by going back in time you can erase him from history. For that, Seda casts the Forbidden Spell again and creates a passage back through time, this is the Gallery of Time. While Seda holds the gate open, you enter. | |||
The Gallery of Time is the dungeon for this area and it's similar to the other dungeons but with some differences. In this dungeon the Atla contains Seda's memories. Since they aren't physical objects, you don't places them anywhere. But you can assemble the pieces inside the dungeon and your can view each memory when it's complete. | |||
