Karma then asks if that wasn't the victim on the boat, then who was it? Answer, "'''Edgeworth and the murderer'''". Phoenix says that the murderer assumed the guise of the victim and met Edgeworth. It seems that the murderer called Edgeworth, and Edgeworth didn't recognize his face.
