Genis Sage is the child prodigy of Iselia and best friend of Lloyd Irving, as well as younger brother of Raine Sage. He frequently belittles Lloyd, in a friendly manner, and pokes fun at Lloyd's lesser intellect and inability to remain awake and alert in Raine's class. As the magic user of the group, Genis has the potential to deal a tremendous amount of damage, but his ability to receive damage is very limited, and his concentration can be easily broken by an enemy attack. His preferred weapon is the Kendama, but he rarely uses it to attack and instead uses the various Kendama to enhance his magic. One skit showed Genis trying to teach other members of the party to use the Kendama with unsuccessful results. | |||
