Konami Code logic

Does anybody know the actual conditions for re-using the Konami Code? I can't find them anywhere, it seems random after the first use.--LaserMoai (talk) 15:22, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure (although not 100% positive) that it is as the guide says:

This can be performed once, plus one more time for each stage cleared.

So you gain one use for each stage that you beat. Although I think in the later Gradius games, you only get it once per stage, and they don't stack. So if you don't use it in one stage and go on to the next, you can still only use it one time, not twice. I also recall the NES version being very picky about the timing of how you enter the code. That was basically what I inferred while playing. Still this should really be noted. Seemingly in the GameCenter CX episode they didn't even bother trying it after the first time.--LaserMoai (talk) 15:35, 5 December 2016 (UTC)
