Brinstar[edit]

Please do not undo the rollback that I performed on your edit. You left the sentence grammatically incorrect, and I don't see the point of removing the words you deleted in the first place. If you have an issue with it, please bring it up in Talk:Metroid/Brinstar. Thank you. Procyon 13:52, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Procyon, If you are referring to "You only need the Ice Beam now if you intend to battle Kraid, or if wish to collect the Varia Power-Up (number 7) right away.", I will explain. I never really needed the Ice Beam to battle Kraid (Their are two ways to get to Kraid). I would've only needed the Ice Beam if I was traveling to the 3rd door on the right to get to Kraid. If I went to get Kraid by traveling through the 1st or 2nd door on the left which is also the way to get to the fake Kraid underneath (Point 4), their would be no need the Ice Beam to defeat Kraid (I can use the bombs, wave beam or long beam still if I was traveling this other way I mentioned in which other people do go the way that I mentioned. You'll know what I am talking about when you see the section (Metroid/Hideout I). Sincerely, Crestwood Rocks.
Hi. Thanks for the response, but there was no need to email me. We try to keep conversations like this public so that everyone can weigh in. If I'm wrong, and you're right (which is a distinct possibility), there should be a record of the discussion in case someone else comes along and doesn't understand the history of the debate. You are correct that there are two ways to reach Kraid, so perhaps we can agree to reword the sentence in question. I will edit the page to reflect the fact that it's not entirely necessary, but helpful as it pertains to the description provided by the walkthrough. Thanks. Procyon 00:09, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
