Question about Diamond & Pearl[edit]
While copyediting the Diamond and Pearl guide I come across a number of "(DP)" annotations next to item balls. I understand this means the items appear in Diamond and Pearl only, and not in Platinum. However, on Route 214, every item ball is marked with DP, which I do not believe is correct. Don't these balls also exist in Platinum? If so, shouldn't I remove the "(DP)" instead of expanding it to say "(Diamond/Pearl only)"? I've been expanding them so far as above; if these also appear in Platinum then I will have to go back and remove the annotations. Thanks for the clarification! - I stopped playing Platinum on Route 214 as the whole game guide needed an overhaul so I started playing Diamond. You will see that on any page after Route 214 there are no Platinum items. If you have the Platinum items then you can add them. If not then I will get to them when I resume playing Platinum. Ewasser33 (talk) 02:52, 23 February 2024 (UTC)
