Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Guardsman Bass! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- DrBob (talk) 02:47, 2 November 2007 (CDT)

Signing pages[edit]

Hallo; as much as I know it feels great to have your name within the content of a page, please do not add or sign your name to pages. They will be removed. Basically, SW is a socialistic guide community, so none of us take direct credit for the work presented (as it all gets mixed together). Thanks for the awesome work, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 19:10, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know[edit]

Thanks for letting me know - I won't do it again. I put it in there because I wanted to separate it from your (?) work on the guide, so that it didn't seem like I was co-opting your work as my own. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Guardsman Bass (talkcontribs) .

Aha, you'll soon get used to mixing content. Although an editor might write an entire guide, there's no reason for you to not do an overhaul on the content if it's necessary. The guides here should not be considered "owned." Remember that the history of a page will contain both your exact changes as well as your name; indefinitely. Also, please remember to sign talk pages; use --~~~~ to generate your name and the date you posted. On a side note, you should be aware that all of your contributions here are released under the GFDL, and are reproducible under certain conditions. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:47, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
