Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Hanabihearts! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or chat with other users, visit the IRC channel, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums.

Please remember to sign your name when leaving comments on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. When making an edit you can use the preview button below the editing box to verify your change before it is saved. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 03:40, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Image categorisation[edit]

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:MapleStory item images]]. The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --najzereT 15:19, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Consolidate your edits[edit]

Hi, thank you for your contributions. Please use full page editing and the preview button to help reduce the amount of edits to the pages you're working on. You can edit the entire page by clicking on the "Edit" tab at the top of the page. Take your time to work out all of the changes you are going to make before submitting them. Making multiple minor edits makes it harder to use a page's history, and an administrator has to patrol every one of the changes you make. If you are editing a page more than three or four consecutive times within 10 minutes, you need to slow down. If you're worried about losing your work, copy the contents of the page into a text editor where you can even save it to your computer if you like. Thanks, — Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:41, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

MapleStory Monster changes[edit]

Hi Hanabihearts, I need to clarify some things. What version of MapleStory do you play/collect information from? Your recent changes to monster names are important, because every version has different names. Also, when you change the name of a monster, you have to be ready to update some of the other lists and links that connect to that monster. If a monster has a duplicate (such as Dunas), you should change the number next to their name to be (1). If it's not in the parenthesis, then the number should only be there if it is seen in the game (yes, Dunas 2 is incorrectly named). Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 18:13, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

When adding monsters, please update the complete list, the boss list, and any other lists that might apply (such as the list of weaknesses). Thanks! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 05:25, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
