Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Pupul07! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the editing article or the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- echelon 22:00, 18 March 2007 (CDT)

Secret of Mana bosses[edit]

If you would like a page deleted, label it with {{delete}} and a reason, so one of the sysops can delete the page. Also, if you created a page at the wrong name, you can use the "Move" command at the top of the page to move the page to a different name. If you have any other questions, leave me a message on my talk page. -- Prod (Talk) 22:21, 18 March 2007 (CDT)

No problem. That guide could really use some attention (it was a great game ^_^). Also, remember to sign your comments with ~~~~ so that it's easier to tell who said what (especially in long discussions). Happy editing! -- Prod (Talk) 12:45, 19 March 2007 (CDT)

Chrono Trigger[edit]

Hey, I'm glad you've helped with the guide a little; CT is my main focus at all times so if a change is made, I see it, etc. Anyways, if you want to help with the guide (if you're looking for ways to help), like with the boss guide, try and follow how some of the end bosses have been listed (i.e. Lavos) and help add the "Found, Items, Attacks" and other entries to the bosses that are lacking them (like Yakra and the others near the top). Talk to me if you have any suggestions/questions, cya round. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 17:26, 19 March 2007 (CDT)

^_^ It's my all time favorite game/RPG so yeah. I don't have much time each day to edit, but I try to add a little more each day. I'm currently finishing the enemy list and the world maps but what you could help with is the boss page as I said. I'm trying to standardize that page so that each boss section contains 3 sections, general (found, charmable items, rewards (dropped items, XP, TP), and then HP), attacks and description. If you could start helping with that it would be great. If you can take screenshots, you could go through the walkthrough as I did and try and add applicable screenshots. For the bosses page, I'd also like to see a sprite or screenshot of each boss within their little section, so if you can do that then go ahead as well. Mostly just look over everything and try and add details when possible. Thanks man, and remember to sign your messages with ~~~~ so that your name appears. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:30, 20 March 2007 (CDT)
Oh just remembered! The characters page is lacking info on significant NPC's; if you can add information to either that or the Chronology page I'd be very thankful. You should go to the SW IRC channel some time; I'm usually there but am really busy tonight. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 22:33, 20 March 2007 (CDT)

Yeah great job! Take a look at what I did after you, added the sections (attack/description) and added a few of Magus's attacks. I also added Yakra XIII to the TOC at the top. Magus's attacks are lacking, he has this spirit attack that targets one person ally with magic damage, but I forget its name. He also does barrier change and remove barrier, both should be noted under the attacks section but as presented in the game (see Lavos's attacks; those titles are what appear in the dialogue box when he casts them). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:09, 20 March 2007 (CDT)

Image categorisation[edit]

I see you've been uploading a few images lately. When doing so, could you please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories? The image policy is viewable here, and contains all the information you'll need to categorise future uploads. --Prod (Talk) 23:55, 20 March 2007 (CDT)

I've made the changes to the first one you uploaded (category wise). There's also a Category:Chrono Trigger images that you can check for good naming conventions (it's best to stay consistent namewise). Happy editing :). -- Prod (Talk) 00:11, 21 March 2007 (CDT)
Yeah you're going to want to make file names easy to identify, so Chrono Trigger Yakra XIII.png is a good filename whereas YakraXIII.png isn't. Just add [[Category:Screenshot]] and [[Category:Chrono Trigger images]] to all of your CT screenshots' summary sections when uploading (or edit area afterwards). As Prod said, check out the Chrono Trigger images category to see the pictures I've added so far; I always name my images by Game Name followed by a simple (2-3 word) descriptor, i.e. name, location, or event. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 00:16, 21 March 2007 (CDT)

Remember[edit]

Captions are sentences too; they need to have periods. Also note that parentheticals have a space between the symbol and the preceeding/following word, but periods dont have a space after them. Thus, a parenthetical would be like this (see) but not like(this). Cheers, thanks for the help! --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 10:55, 22 March 2007 (CDT)

Pap, don't be hard on yourself. I'm really glad you're helping, having at least another person contributing spurs me on to contribute as well. If you make an edit, I'll check it no matter what; that means I'll think about the content, maybe add more and revise it to perfection. Keep that in mind, even your mistakes are beneficial! ^_^ Keep it up, and add more! I'm almost done with the enemy list, but a lot of information is missing (i.e. EXP/TP/GP and specific locations). We have our work cut out for us since that information doesn't exist online (out of all the sources I've checked). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:18, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
Don't worry, SW ain't goin nowhere =) (btw, you should add something to your userpage some time). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:43, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
