Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello SMX REVENGE! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. Please remember to sign your name on, and only on, talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 18:55, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Consolidating your edits[edit]

Before you edit the same page too many times, please consider using the "Show preview" button before saving your changes. Also, edit the entire page so you can add details to multiple sections instead of just one at a time. If you are worried about losing your work, copy the page into a text editor, make your changes, and paste it back into your browser. Thanks, --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 18:55, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

Gaming achievements[edit]

Look, it's pretty obvious that you are the same user as "KING OF ALL GAMES." Understand this:

  • StrategyWiki does not exist for the sake of allowing you to post videos of your achievements. This is not the site for that. Either find one that is, or start your own website dedicated to that purpose. But do not persist on the same course that you were on previously, or this account will be banned faster than your previous account.

StrategyWiki is for sharing information about video games, and sharing information only. If you can contribute responsibly, you can keep your account. If not, then you are not welcome here. Procyon 03:46, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

NO PROJECTS![edit]

You don't seem to get it. There is no need for a "classics" project because games are all time periods are within the scope of StrategyWiki. The site already has an extensive list of games from 1980 to 1987 and beyond. Don't pitch any of your ideas until it becomes clear that you understand how this site operates and how to contribute to it responsibly. Right now, I don't have a lot of confidence that you won't end up getting yourself banned in a short period of time. This is your last warning. Procyon 13:50, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Your User Pager[edit]

Every user gets a user page which they may use however they wish. I moved that weird post you put from this page to your user page. Procyon 13:50, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Responses[edit]

  • can i post info like my first pokémon platinum hof team and youtube links?
    • You can post info about pokemon teams as long as they are presented from a neutral point of view. That is to say, you may write, "One pokemon team is as follows," but you may not write, "My pokemon team is," or "A favorite pokemon team of mine is,". Your writing must remain neutral and not contain any first person references to yourself.
  • what am i suppose to do when i have no images or any way of uploading them?
    • The internet is loaded with images that you can use. Uploading them is as simple as clicking the "Upload files" link on the left side of the screen and following the instructions. You would have known that if you read the StrategyWiki Guide.
  • did you notice the references i made like in the of this message?
    • I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, nor do I particularly care to be honest with you.
  • i am very disoriented from too much caramelldansen so some things may not look right if i write it
    • Regardless of that fact, we are a professional community, and the more you reflect a professional attitude in your correspondence with myself and other users, the more your communications will be appreciated. Please bare this in mind. Procyon 18:55, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
