Image uploads

Please see our policy on image naming and categorization. For consistency and ease of use throughout the wiki, image names should contain the name of the game or its abbreviation and a one or two word description. All images also need the appropriate categories added, as well as the guide-specific image category (e.g. [[Category:Game Name images]]). Please see our policy on image naming. For consistency and ease of use throughout the wiki, image names should contain the name of the game or its abbreviation and a one or two word description. The category that you want to assign these images too is Category:TalesWeaver images. Also, be careful, some of the jpgs you're uploading are actually uncompressed bitmaps. Procyon 21:29, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Please please please understand that the category you are supposed to assign the images you are uploading to is Category:TalesWeaver images. Nothing else. Don't use the filename in any way, all of the images are supposed to belong to the same category. You are assigning each one to their own individual category. That's going to create a lot of work for one of the administrators to fix up. Thank you. Procyon 22:04, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Why is this so hard for you to understand? The only category that you should assign to your images is Category:TalesWeaver images, NOTHING ELSE! If you fail to listen to this message, you will be blocked for 2 hours. I really don't want to have to block you because you're doing a nice job with the guide. I know you're going to think I'm a tremendous jerk... and I really apologize for this, but it's still not quite right. The word "images" should not be capitalized. If you look around the site, we have Category:MapleStory images, Category:Final Fantasy XII images, Category:Super Mario Bros. 3 images, all with a lower case 'i'. Since Category:TalesWeaver images already exists, you can see that it's blue or purple, depending on whether you've visited it or not. If the category you are assigning images to is red, that means it doesn't yet exist. Since your category already exists, you should not see a red category if you're doing it right. Thanks. I've re-categorized most of the pages into the proper category. You should be able to look through all the images in Category:TalesWeaver images now. Please take care that they all go in that category in the future :). -- Prod (Talk) 01:54, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
