The main game mode of WarioWare: Get It Together! is Story Mode, where the game's characters and other modes can be unlocked. It is recommended that this mode be beaten before pursuing the game's other challenges, as it serves to introduce not only the game's cast of playable characters, but also the many microgames within it. Below is the progression of levels as they are unlocked in the world map:
- Intro Games: Introductory games created by Wario
- That's Life: Reality-based games created by Mona
- Fantasy: Fantasy-based games created by Dribble & Spitz
- High Tech: Futuristic games created by Dr. Crygor
- Nintendo Classics: Games inspired by 9-Volt's love of Nintendo toys and games
- Remix: Features a mix of games from That's Life, High Tech, Fantasy, and Nintendo Classics
- Nature: Nature-based games created by Kat & Ana
- Food: Games themed around food created by Ashley
- Sports: Games about sports created by Jimmy T
- Culture: Games based on Orbulon's research of human culture and history
- Remix 2.0: Features a mix of games from Nature, Sports, Food, and Culture
- Anything Goes: Games featuring Wario that are more difficult than his Intro Games; fend off attacks from the Wario Bug between games
The End?[edit]
After clearing the final set of microgames, Wario can go down a pipe behind the Intro Games to access additional levels. These are as follows:
- All Mixed Up: Features a mix of games from all levels
- Super Hard: Features a mix of games from all levels at their first difficulty level with high speed
- Thrill Ride: Features a mix of games from all levels at their highest difficulty level with one life
- Penny's Mix: Features a mix of games from all levels; only Penny is playable
- Showdown: A final boss stage with rounds tailored to each character
