| This is an awesome upgrade to an already useful weapon. The blasts become blue (the same colour as a charged up Shock Blaster shot). The Beam of Death becomes the the charge attack, and it's extremely powerful - it can kill most enemies in one hit and although it doesn't last for very long you can quickly spin on the spot and hit a load of enemies. The ammo consumption of this however means you can't use it very often.

| This weapon is great; it's free, effective and user-friendly. The Shock Cannon's Beam of Death feature makes it one of the best weapons available, especially near the beginning of the game. Against bigger, badder enemies this weapon isn't very useful, but against large groups of small enemies this will serve you well.
