You can change the controls in the Options Menu at any time to one of the other preset button maps (you can't choose your own, unfortunately) but the default one is the best for a starting player.

These are the default controls, in context with the Third-Person Camera:

• / - Move/Move target reticle
• - Move camera

• - Jump
• - Fire weapon
• - Wrench attack
• - Quick Select

• - Aim/Scope
• - Strafe (hold down and move normally)
• - Zoom out (when in scope)/Crouch
• - Zoom in (when in scope)/Strafe

[edit] Advanced Moves

When jumping:

• , then again whilst in mid-air - Double Jump
• , then again, and hold - Double Jump and Glide
• , then again (near a wall) - Wall Jump (use this to get up Jump Slots)
• and/or and (whilst moving sideways) - Side-flip
• and/or and (whilst moving backwards) - Back-flip

Special wrench moves:

• three times in quick succession - Wrench Combo
• , then - Hyper-strike (a downwards wrench attack that's roughly twice as powerful as a normal attack)
• , then - Comet-strike (throw your wrench - useful against enemies with close-range weapons)
