Walkthrough
Crumbly Woods has been around for a while... a long while. Although it already has three fantastic coasters, a couple of well-placed gentle rides, some shops and stalls, and a Car Ride with some beautiful scenery surrounding it, they're all around 12 to 14 years old and their age has not only impacted their value, but they're extremely prone to breaking down. To double the amount of guests the park currently has, the rides need to be either replaced or rebuilt along with the park getting some new rides.
For the easy adjustments, replace the Ferris Wheel, Haunted House, and Carousel with brand new ones so you can charge them their default price once more. Next, shorten the queue line for Crazy Critters if you're considering to rebuild it as it's far too long for any car ride to have without people getting impatient. While doing that, also build another pathway from the carousel to the entrance. Build over the lake and along the border fence to create a complete circle. You can add some new rides there as well. Set research to maximum and discover more coasters and rides as usual. Finally, hire more mechanics and handymen to prepare for new rides and bigger crowds in advance.
Starting from the coaster with the smallest admission price, edit Whiplash first. It's recommended to just destroy it along with the absolutely insane path system leading up to it. It's not only tiring for guests, but it's also confusing for your staff. Make a new coaster that's far closer to the ground and have it go into the forest where there's lots of free space. Next, go over to Mean Squeak. With high excitement and intensity ratings and a compact design, this is the easiest and least time-consuming one to replace. Although you can save track designs in the file menu, it's impossible to rebuild it exactly if it uses any tunnels or goes under any pathways. Instead, close the old ride and tear down the station. Then go to Build New Ride and put the new coaster's station where the old one was. Continue to delete parts of the old ride and right-click on the new ride to build what was left behind. When almost all of the old ride is deleted, click on the trash can on the ride's window to get rid of it. Finish building the new ride and now you can raise the price of the new Mean Squeak to $6.80.
Finally, there's Woodchip Woodchip. Demolishing that will give you a lot of cash in return (at most $13,867), which should give you plenty of money and room to make a great coaster, so use that money freely. You can copy its design as well, but it can be the most time-consuming of the three coasters. As for Crazy Critters, you will need to replace that as well since it's $0.80 admission price nets you a loss in profits compared to its running cost. If you decide to rebuild it as it was, you may notice that building along the fences will destroy them and you'll have to place them again, so have your scenery window ready. Be warned that tearing any of these rides down immediately will cause a loss in guests, but it will build back up if the ride sufficiently fills up what was lost.
While you're replacing the rides, make sure to put new rides as well as more shops and stalls. With only two bathrooms and one place to get drinks, your guests will get very thirsty and uncomfortable soon. Try not to spend too much time replacing rides as you might run out of time to have new guests come in with more simpler rides and advertising campaigns. Continue to make more coasters and have them intertwine with other coasters and the trees for a bigger impact. To get to 1,200 guests, you'll need at least 5 or 6 coasters. Thankfully, cash for construction shouldn't be a problem once the old coasters are torn down and you have new coasters making a lot of profit.
