F.N.G is the first mission you will do in Single Player, it is mainly a Tutorial Level and it suggests what difficulty you play on at the end.

- Pick Up a Rifle from the Table
- Enter Station Number 1 and Aim Down Your Sights
- Shoot Each Target while Firing from the Hip
- Shoot a Target through the Wood
- Shoot Each Target as Quickly as Possible
- Get a Pistol from the Same Place You Got the Rifle
- Switch to Your Rifle and then Back to Your Pistol
- Melee the Watermelon with Your Knife
- Use Your Objective Indicator to Locate Captain Price
- Complete the CQB Test
- Debrief with Captain Price
[edit] Pick Up a Rifle from the Table
Gaz will talk to you as you come into the room, as you go near the weapon, press the use button to pick it up. Then Gaz will give you your next instruction
[edit] Enter Station Number 1 and Aim Down Your Sights
You will be told to aim down your sights and hit a high target then a low target, then the game will ask if you want to reverse your controls for up and down, if you are struggling, you may want to do this, you can always do it later in the options if you do not do it then.

This is just to make sure you can shoot from the hip. Just aim up the sights with the targets and fire. They should go down
[edit] Shoot a Target through the Wood
This is to show a new feature of Call of Duty 4, you can shoot through some surfaces if you have a powerful gun, try it out, the targets are near the middle of the board but keep shooting until they all go down.
[edit] Shoot Each Target as Quickly as Possible
This is to test the Auto Assist feature (Xbox 360 and PS3). Try shooting the targets with and without the feature to see which one you prefer, you have 10 seconds to shoot all of the targets. If you don't do this, you will have to do this again until you do. On the PC version there is modified dialogue and you will have to do this unassisted.
[edit] Get a Pistol from the Same Place You Got the Rifle
Now go back to the table where you got your rifle, you will find a pistol there. Pick it up using the use key.
[edit] Switch to Your Rifle and then Back to Your Pistol
This is to show you how to switch between the two weapons you can carry, just press the button when Gaz tells you to and listen about when to switch weapons.
[edit] Melee the Watermelon with Your Knife
Go up to the watermelon and press the melee button to knife it, the bigger your weapon is that you're holding, the longer it will take to use the weapon after knifing.
[edit] Use Your Objective Indicator to Locate Captain Price
look at the indicator, go out the door and follow it to where Captain Price is, make sure the yellow blob is in front of you and that the metres away counter is going down.
[edit] Complete the CQB Test
The CQB test is a test to see how well you will do in the game, it will recommend a difficulty but you are still free to choose any you want. To Start, go to the ladder and look up then go forward, you will climb it, then swap your gun for the MP5 by pressing the use key, then go to the rope and press the use key, do not jump. You will go down the ladder
Depending on what time you get in the test, the game will give you a recommended difficulty. This table will show you the times.
