Move?[edit]

Just a suggestion, but wouldn't the checklist be better on the main walkthrough page? It would be a good way to present the links to the different dungeons in proper order.

Be bold and move it if you think it will be better. I would agree that it might be better there, although since Myth's currently working on this guide you might want to talk to him about it first. --DrBob (Talk) 06:16, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
That was exactly why I wanted to ask. Myth has been doing a ton of work on this while I have been lurking in the background doing research and fact checking. Both pages in question also have a partially done feel so I was curious if Myth had any specific plans. The actual destroying of a page seems like a big enough thing to start a dialog with the main contributor. The be bold part made me smile, it made my morning --Zaiqukaj 07:15, 4 July 2007 (CDT)
The walkthrough page is where we "expect" everyone to start when they are trying to follow the guide. My main reason to go against having the checklist there is because it might contain spoilers. It is also something that would take a fair bit of work to put together, and we want the walkthrough pages to be set up for all the guides we have (ie. something quick and relatively easy). -- Prod (Talk) 18:56, 5 July 2007 (CDT)

Hmmm... spoilers and size are a good point, I did not think of that. Though I still don't have complete mastery over my understanding of what goes where this still feels like it is better a part of something else. Perhaps the section walkthrough lists could be like a beginning(or ending, dosn't matter) summery.

In this level you:
  • kill the enemies
  • fight the boss
  • save the princess

and then detailed description on each step for those who need more help/direction. I normally make a checklist: simple, quick, to the point, and vague up the details that are spoiler like, but thats just me. I don't think I have seen any checklists on strategywiki yet so I may be horribly wrong. --Zaiqukaj 02:43, 7 July 2007 (CDT)

The only one I can think of is here--Rocky Rally-X Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 02:45, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
I am honestly surprized and impressed with how brief it is AND how it looks to cover everything. As long as the walkthrough looks more useful that looking at the titles on the table of contents than I don't really care. Most of the gameplay on this game is go to the dungeon and beat the boss. Ok, go to the next one and repeat. I think the thing that looked off and like it needed fixing is how brief the content on the walkthrough page is. Things will probally look more solid with time. --Zaiqukaj 02:59, 7 July 2007 (CDT)
