  • Stage: Monsoon Jungle
  • Location: Emerald Passage, Stage 4
  • Time: (Normal/Hard/Super Hard) 4:00/2:45/2:00

While Monsoon Jungle, fourth stage of Emerald Passage, uses a mild music, it is not as safe as it sounds.

Normal Version[edit]

  • Room 1: A wet welcome. You can immediately see a pipe to Bonus Room 2, and the Key Ghost on the left, but obviously you cannot claim him now, so swim to the left and leave.
  • Bonus Room 2: You must obtain the rock to break in the right wall for a Big Diamond. There are two methods to grab the rock without letting it swim like a brick. a) From the left end, perform a super charge, and jump to hit the switch without stopping, shall you have succeeded, your head will slam the falling rock to the ground. b) Stomp the ground a few times to shake the rock off the center, then simply hit the switch and it will get a dry landing.
  • Room 3: While moving on the platforms above the water, watch out for the Scuba-Gators below, as they can bite your butt hard. They are invincible in water. It is possible, but not easy, to lure them out of water and quickly slam from side to eliminate them. On the third island, there is a Spear Mask. Before leaving the room, look at the water tunnel below, and swim inside to find a hidden Room A with a Heart Chest.
  • Room 4: A big room with two piles of blocks, some of which contain coins, and a few Apple Apes and Archers roaming. Get fed into Fat Wario and break the hard block on the ground to fall into Room 5. At upper right corner is a pipe to Bonus Room B. The entrance to Room 6 above is stuck by a block. The upper left leads to Room 7.
  • Bonus Room B: Walk to the left end, attract the Archer to shoot an arrow, then walk to the right and let the arrow follow you, until you reach the right end, and get caught into Balloon Wario, float up and finally reach the Big Diamond.
  • Room 5: Collect the Gems while falling. You will land on the first Stone Chest, but instead of opening it, break the floor on the right end to reveal a Big Diamond below. Back to the chest, take out two Spear-Masks on the left. You will see a yellow pipe which leads back to Room 4, but instead of entering it, break the floor on the left end and fall below. You will find a Malletape in the middle shaft that, each time you stomp the ground, it jumps a bit. Try to get him out of shaft, then let him smash you into Spring Wario, and release your potent right below the Gems. You will be able to collect all Gems, return to Room 4, break the ceiling block and finally get into Room 6.
  • Room 6: Run to the right and you will find a Black Spiny. While he can be killed with slope rolling, in order to collect his 300 Coins, use the platform on the right to gain enough height to perform a super stomp and flip him, then finish him with another stomp. When the path is clear, roll down the slope and break into the far right end for a CD Chest. Now return to below and proceed to Room 7.
  • Room 7: Jump over the swinging platforms to reach Room 8, but before doing so, fall below to find two Pink Spinies and a Heart. Then use the ladder on the right to return to entrance and proceed.
  • Room 8: Another "cross the water" room. Watch out for the Scuba-Gators and a Spear Mask on the middle island. Keep going left.
  • Room 9: Another big room with lots to do. Take out the Spearman first, then fall below to find the second Stone Chest, but beware of another Spearman around. Break the blocks and fall down again, collect the Gems and land beside the Frog Switch. Do not activate it now, instead, super-charge the hard block on the left, find an Archer above, bring him to the ground level, and let him to turn you into Balloon Wario. Now float all the way upward to Room 10 above.
  • Room 10: Actually a bonus room with two Spearmen and a Big Diamond. To claim the treasure, get on the middle platform, move to the left one, and run-jump onto the ledge to reach it. Now return to Room 9 and start escaping to the right. Hurry up!
  • Room 11: Keep running to the right, breaking over three piles of blocks, and stop! There is a red Spearman in the way, remove him and enter Door C among the middle pile of blocks. After taking the treasure, run to the right.
  • Room C: First use the platforms to go over the wall on the left, and reach the third Stone Chest. You will notice a ladder with a block atop. Jump-charge to break the left wall, revealing a rock inside. Now bring the rock to Door C, and to the upmost platform, and throw it to clear the block, and finally use the ladder to get inside with a Big Diamond. Now leave.
  • Room 7 (revisited): You appear in the lower portion with two Pink Spinies and the fourth Stone Chest. There is a ladder at the right wall. From here, you can climb up and jump over a few swinging platforms to return to upper portion, and return to Room 1 via the coming path. However, the lower corner of this wall can be broken. To get inside, return to the left end of Room 11 to find a slope, then start rolling, and only jump when touching the ground of Room 7, shall you have succeeded, you will break into the ramp to Room D.
  • Room D: Keep rolling rolling, but do not forget to jump for the Gems. At the end of room you can hit the ceiling to stop, and return for missing Gems, then find another slope here to continue rolling.
  • Room 12: You finally break in a room with two Black Spinies, and may have crushed one before hitting the wall. There are platforms for you to gain height for a super stomp. When it is done, enter the pipe above to Room 1.
  • Room 1 (revisited): Now it is time to catch the Key Ghost, but to reach the warphole, you shall start from the right end and use the swinging platforms.

High Score: 15920 (Not advised since you must kill all Scuba-Gators to achieve this)
