In-game map of Fruit Land

When Meikyuu Shima/Kickle Cubicle was localized outside Japan, only three original islands of Fruit Land were kept, although in an easier form. Of the remaining fourteen, eleven were moved to Cake Land, one to Toy Land and two were completely removed. The Western version of Fruit Land features six islands from the Japanese Garden Land an eight new islands.

Fruit Land maps[edit]

Fruit land is shaped after a bunch of grapes.

Kickle starts from the island at the top-left and, in the Western version, he proceeds counterclockwise spiraling towards the center. In the original version, the player is free to navigate to any island in any order.

Click on any island to be redirected to the corresponding solution section.

Island 1[edit]

Island 1
Solution

Remove the ice pillars and re-make them on the upper row. Freeze a Noggle, push it against the pillars and then to the right to create a bridge. Beware of the Spinies.

Garden Island 13, Japanese version

Island 2[edit]

Island 2
Solution

It's all action here!

When Sparkies blast ("BOM!") run to grab popsicles and red bags, and when they respawn make two ice pillars to defend Kickle.

Garden Island 6, Japanese version

Island 3[edit]

Island 3
Solution

All action again!

Freeze and kick the Bonkers, but you can also use ice pillars to defend from their balloons.

Island 7, Japanese version

Island 4[edit]

Island 4
Solution

Timing is the key here.

Create more ice pillars for protection from the cannonballs, but beware of those that pass through at the last second! Five popsicles can be taken with no problem, but the last two are almost impossible!

Garden Island 5, Japanese version

Island 5[edit]

Island 5

Freeze the Noggles and push them down on the springs, until a path is created around one side of the round holes.

Island 6[edit]

Island 6

Freeze a Noggle, push it against the rocks on the right (if it's not there already), then push it up against the hammer to create a passage. Repeat the process if you want to get the popsicles.

Island 7

Freeze the Noggles on your way, push them and grab the red bags. It's so easy it could have been the first island of the video game.

Island 15
Solution

Freeze the Noggle when it is in the upper part of its area, then push it sideways. Grab the red bag in the upper-left area. Leave the hammer where it is and, once again, freeze the Noggle as before and push the ice cube; when the ice cube is in the right part of the island, push the hammer up. Grab the last two red bags.

Island 16[edit]

Island 16

An island shaped as a Spiny and featuring three of them.

Solution

The solution of this island is the same as Garden Island 12, just with less room to maneuver. Remember that Spiny always follows the border.

Island 11, Japanese version

Only available in the original version.

If you freeze the Max in front of you as soon as the stage starts, you'll reduce the difficulty of the island by stopping one of the two ice cubes.

Boss: Piro[edit]

Piro
Piro, Japanese version

Piro attacks throwing giant balloons that split into four upon impact. In order to defeat him, Kickle has to kick back at him 4 balloons in the Western version, or 5 balloons in the original version.
