* Purpose: AutoWikiBrowser activity (current focus on image categories)
* Runs under AutoWikiBrowser (available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/autowikibrowser/)
* Manual usage.
I've encountered old guides, such as Ghosts 'n Goblins that have plenty of images, but none of the images for that game belong to the category. While I can use AWB on my primary account to add categories to these images, it would involve editing over 113 files; the result is many entries in recent changes either clustered at once or appearing in the same day.
AWB is a semi-auto editing utility that allows a user to either make multiple edits in a short period of time, or to spread out the edits over a long period of time. It is given a list of files to process (in this case, all images from the various subpages) and filtered out those that did not have the GnG prefix.
(FYI, I already created an account, but disabled it.) --Sigma 7 04:57, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
*Just a clarification: do you want your puppet account to be flagged for bot usage, or your main account? The point in having a bot account is to easily revert its changes on a massive scale, or to ban it altogether if need be. -- 22:27, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
** That would be the sub-account. Having the main account use of the bot flag would be closer to the Flood permission, which isn't implemented on SW. --Sigma 7 23:44, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
:::Please create a user page for the bot detailing its purpose, link to source, etc. -- 17:41, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
