Combat

GBA PC PS2 GameCube Action Notes
Left Click Square button B button Slash Up to six hits possible.
E Triangle button Y button Sand Retrieve Enemy must be down.
Right Click R1 button R button Block You can't block a knockdown attack.
Spacebar Cross button A button Roll/Jump/Dodge Press in any direction to dodge/aim jump.
Right Click R2 button R button Wall run You can slash enemies, but this is extremely dangerous.
Spacebar Cross button A button Vault Run into an enemy and jump.
Right Click Cross button+Cross button A button+A button Wall vault You must do this near a wall.
Spacebar Cross button A button Ledge (climb)
C Circle button X button Ledge (drop)
Spacebar Cross button A button Pillars (jump) Press left or right to turn.
W Up dpad Up dpad Climb (ropes/poles)
S Down dpad Down dpad Slide (ropes/poles)
Right Click R1 button R button Swing (ropes/poles)

Sand Abilities

R L1 button L button The Power of Revival Rewinds time, 10 second max. Using any other sand ability (including Retrieval) resets the white time meter.
E Triangle button Y button The Power of Restraint Enemy must be standing up. Slash twice to kill them.
R L1 button L button The Power of Delay Just tap the button to activate slow-motion.
E + R L1 button+R1 button L button+R button The Power of Haste Hold down both buttons at the same time. Super Freeze Sand and Power tanks must be full and equal. Very useful: all enemies freeze and you bounce at hyper speed from enemy to enemy.
