Control Pad: Use the control pad to move your cursor around in battle and scroll though the menus(in and out of battle)
A button: confims actions, brings up map menu during battle,when on unoccupied square, and scroll through dialogue during a cinima scene.
B button: canncels the current action, returns you to the previous part of the menu, and if tapped or held during text it rapidly scrolls through it.
L: only used in battle. use it to scroll between your units that you havn't comanded.
R: in battle. it brings up data for the unit you have the cursor over. also when you are in the help window when pressed it brings up a help window.
