Bomberman Max (ボンバーマンMAX Bonbāman Makkusu?) is a video game released for the Game Boy Color on May 14, 2000. There are two versions called Bomberman Max: Blue Champion and Bomberman Max: Red Challenger. The game was followed by Bomberman Max 2: Blue Advance and Red Advance.
In Blue Champion the main character is Bomberman; in Red Challenger the main character is Max. While the two versions of the game behave similarly, some levels are only accessible in one of the two versions of the game.
