And that you shall have to do. This could just be the hardest bold in existence just because of the sheer amounts of randomness required. In MS CC, it's going to be all but impossible. When I angled towards beating the previous record of 476, I made sure to use Tile World v. 1.2 to make the job a million times easier. However, even with my new route, it took about 2 hours straight to pull it off. Here we go...
Hold all the way west, teleport west, then step DRU and hold left to four red keys, and finally teleport RL to reach the red doors they belong with. Step D2R2DUD2R2URU3L2U2LDRURDLD4RDRU and you have two possibilities, depending on which emulation you are using: you can go right through in MS, but you should wait two moves in TW, because you'll be following close enough to be blocked off by it and thus drown in the water next to you. In fact, you'll have to wait two moves anyway, so just do it.
Splash through the dirt and continue L2U6R2U6L2U6R2U6L2UR, waiting for the tanks when necessary, and then wait one further move for this tank. Step as such: 5R2U4LR2ULR2D2RLURDR2D4L, and retrace your steps back out, and this time, turn to the left. Step underneath the first yellow key and wait three moves by touching the button again in order to "synchronize" the walls properly, and also simply touching a wall. Now, collect the keys with 4U2D4L2D2L5D5R (which collects a blue key) and then hug the far west wall all the way past the two doors on the left. From that door, step U4R2U6R to avoid the teeth, and 2U2R3DR2D2RU2RU4RURUR3LDU2L to collect the first two chips. Wait a move to collect the remaining chips and walk all the way right, 3 spaces under the chip socket, then 2D3R6U2R7U2L and zigzag south to take the rest of the chips. D2LDLU takes you to the socket....Wow! You made it this far?! But you're just starting..This is where it's going to get tough.
Why you swapped the walls will be seen later...slide through west, then down, up, and into a central room. Step into the toggle door at the south, which should ideally leave about 518 on the clock, and power west to the fire boots at about 514 to 515. Return back out, being at the very top turn at a 509 minimum, and power through the up and down turns, then go back to the block with the teeth near it. Drop it into the water and take stock: Your ideal time should be 503.6, as that's when I made it, and you can calculate that it will take six moves to reach the trap button and come back out. The tank is going 4R4L repeatedly without pause, so watch its movement. If you see that taking the six moves will cause you to wait less, hit the button, and if not, go through now and do this later. Open the wall under the left fire and pass the fire to a force intersection; under the block at the end of the ''southern'' path is a suction boot. The other one has nothing, so don't go there!! Step back out, wait for the tank, continue out with D2RUR, and ''very'' important: hit the toggle button near the tank! Now, push the block onto the brown button if you haven't yet, then go back to the other section and walk through the toggle doors, which won't slow you down at all! Step into the consecutive toggle walls and and hold left to get to the exit. Your time depends on your luck, but you can take a check on your status by following the "goal" times for completing each section.
I scored 477 with some of this route, and then came up with an improvement in the teeth room, plus one failed experiment to get me to swap the walls at the end, to take it out to 479 the next day. Because you have to swap walls at the end after swapping them at the beginning, you may be able to avoid the extra two steps doing the former and still walk through the toggle doors scot-free, which means 480 isn't out of reach with this route. However, my goal at the time was only to break the record, and I saw that with the walls in their original position, I would have to scramble pretty hard to get to that first toggle door...so I settled for the realistic. :)
The theoretical maximum has been calculated to be 488 seconds, but this is just that - a theoretical maximum. No one would live long enough to have each force floor behave exactly perfect. :)
