Controls
- Joystick: Use the 8-way joystick to move the current ship around the screen.
- Firing Button: Use this button to make the current ship fire at the enemies. The shots will become more powerful as the game progresses.
- Super Weapon Button: Use this button to make the current ship fire a super weapon at the enemies. Alpha Ship fires Ring Lasers, Beta Ship fires Melt Missiles, and Delta Ship and the two combined ships fire Hyper Bombs. Each ship starts out with one of these, and can obtain up to four later in the game.
- 1 or 2 Player Buttons: Push these buttons to begin a 1 or 2 player game.
Characters
Alpha Ship
- Energy: 3
- Special Weapon: Ring Lasers
If Alpha Ship is destroyed in any of the first four stages, Beta Ship will make an attempt to get through.
Beta Ship
- Energy: 4
- Special Weapon: Melt Missiles
If Beta Ship is destroyed in any of the first four stages, Delta Ship will make an attempt to get through.
Delta Ship
- Energy: 5
- Special Weapon: Hyper Bombs
If Delta Ship is destroyed in any of the first four stages, the game is over.
Combined Ships
If you made it through the first four stages with all three ships intact, they will combine into the large ship that you see on the left. However, if you were unlucky enough to let Alpha Ship get destroyed, the two remaining ships will combine into the medium-sized ship that you see on the right.
Turtles
The green ones only appear when you're controlling Alpha Ship, and contain Ring Lasers. The blue ones only appear when you're controlling Beta Ship, and contain Melt Missiles. The red ones only appear when you're controlling Delta Ship or either of the combined ships and contain Hyper Bombs, and the yellow ones will appear regardless of which ship you're controlling and contain Energy Capsules, which will restore some of your ship's energy.
NOTE: If you have four special weapons, the green, blue and red turtles will contain a Special Bonus powerup which will increase in point value as the game progresses, and the yellow turtles will contain Hyper Boosters, which will increase your ship's speed dramatically and when its speed returns to normal it will be at the stage's boss.
