Round 1

The first mother nature round is the easiest and similar to the original Dig Dug board. All you have to do is inflate or crush monsters with rocks. Right when you start, Fygar the green dragon breathes fire. The bonus vegetable is the 400-point carrot.

Round 2

A new useful item is being used here: giant rocks that can go all the way down underground with a small rock, six dug up areas and five enemies: three Pookas and two Fygars. The bonus vegetable is the 600-point turnip.

Round 3

This is the round where Fast Fygars start appearing. They are red Fygars that go faster than the regular green ones, in which there are two of each kind. As such, you'll have to inflate the red Fygars quickly. The bonus vegetable is the 800-point mushroom.

Round 4

Here, you will find a new useful item: a ball rock. If you drop these, you'll strike the monsters out. The bonus vegetable is the 1,000-point cucumber.

Round 5

Here, you will start to encounter yellow spike heads, which are monsters that can ram into you or closed dirt spaces. The bonus vegetable is the 1,000-point cucumber.

Round 6

This is the round where gray Pookas start appearing, which are like the red ones but they're harder to inflate and they deflate faster. Like the Fast Fygars, pump them fast! The bonus vegetable is the 2,000-point eggplant.

Round 7

The first factory level has new monsters called Blasts. If you inflate these, they explode like a bomb and other enemies are KO'd! The bonus vegetable is the 2,000-point eggplant.

Round 8

There are four dug up areas with pipes around them with two of each Fygar and two Blasts. The bonus vegetable is the 3,000-point pepper.

Round 9

This round contains a dug up "path" useful for the ball rock with two giant rocks and six monsters: four Pookas and two spike heads. The bonus vegetable is the 3,000-point pepper.

Round 10

This round contains six dug up areas with pipes around them with two rocks and six monsters: two Pookas, two Fygars and two Blasts. The bonus fruit/vegetable is the 4,000-point tomato.

Round 11

You're stuck in the centre of the board, blocked by pipes. There are four rocks and six monsters: three Pookas and three Fygars. The bonus fruit/vegetable is the 4,000-point tomato.

Round 12

The first boss in the game is a giant blue Pooka. Use Blasts and inflate them near the boss to kill it. If done, you earn 20,000 extra points.

Round 13

The first desert level has a good way to KO all of the monsters. There are three Pookas and three Fygars: use one of the three ball rocks and the round is cleared, just like that! The bonus vegetable is the 5,000-point garlic.

Round 14

This round is where Dig Dug rivals begin appearing with two Pookas and two Fygars. The rivals wear white and purple and can do the same things as Dig Dug, even inflate him! The bonus vegetable is the 5,000-point garlic.

Round 15

This round reads "Dig - Dug" vertically and contains two giant rocks and six monsters: three spike heads and three Fygars. The bonus vegetable is the 6,000-point watermelon.

Round 16

Not much is known here, but there are four rocks and five enemies: one of each Pooka, two Fygars and a Dig Dug rival. The bonus vegetable is the 6,000-point watermelon.

Round 17

The centre of the board is dug up in a vertical line that spans the board. This board has four rocks and six enemies: two Pookas, two Fygars and two Dig Dug rivals. The bonus item is the 7,000-point Galaxian flagship.

Round 18

Not much is known here, but there are three rocks and eight monsters: two Fygars, two spike heads and four gray Pookas. The bonus item is the 7,000-point Galaxian flagship.

Round 19

Almost all of the dirt is dug up with five rocks and nine monsters: three Fygars, three spike heads and three gray Pookas. The bonus fruit is the 8,000-point pineapple.

Round 20

The first historic ruins round doesn't have a lot known, but there are three rocks and six monsters: four gray Pookas and two spike heads. The bonus fruit is the 8,000-point pineapple.

Round 21

There are a lot of stones that block your way through the whole board with eight dug up spaces containing two Fast Fygars, two spike heads and 4 gray Pookas. The bonus fruit is the 9,000-point strawberry.

Round 22

This level contains five dug up spaces with four rocks: two balls and two small rocks. There are six enemies: two Fast Fygars, two spike heads and two gray Pookas. The bonus fruit is the 9,000-point strawberry.

Round 23

The bottom part of the level is blocked with 4 dug up spaces containing eight monsters: four Fast Fygars, two spike heads and two gray Pookas. The bonus vegetable is the 10,000-point cabbage.

Round 24

The second boss is a giant Fygar that breathes fire longer than the small ones. You'll need the Ray Gun to defeat it. If done, you will earn 30,000 extra points.

Round 25

The first ice fields round marks the first appearance of fire-breathing dinosaurs with six other monsters: two Pookas, two Fygars and two spike heads. The bonus fruit is the 11,000-point grapes.

Round 26

This round contains three ball rocks and seven monsters: two Pookas, two Fygars and three fire-breathing dinos. The bonus fruit is the 11,000-point grapes.

Round 27

This round features seven small rows of cleared dirt on top of one another horizontally with eight fire-breathing dinos and two giant rocks. The bonus fruit is the 12,000-point cherries.

Round 28

This round shows seven small cleared dirt areas on top, three rocks and eight monsters: four dinos, one of each Fygar, a spike head and a gray Pooka. The bonus fruit is the 12,000-point cherries.

Round 29

This round has nine dug up areas of six squares on the left and right and three rectangles in the centre with three ball rocks and eight monsters: two Pookas, two Fygars, two spike heads and two dinos. The bonus vegetable is the 13,000-point corn on the cob.

Round 30

The third boss is another giant Fygar where you need to inflate Blasts near it to defeat it. If done, you earn a 50,000-point bonus.

Round 31

The first moon round marks the first appearance of sleepy aliens with six small dug up areas, three boxes and six monsters: four of the new guys and two fire-breathing dinosaurs. The bonus fruit is the 15,000-point orange.

Round 32

This round contains six open dirt areas, three boxes and five monsters: three fire-breathing dinosaurs and two sleepy aliens. The bonus fruit is the 15,000-point orange.

Round 33

The dug up space looks somewhat like a ghost from Pac-Man with two rectangular spaces for the eyes with a ball rock in the right eye and nine monsters: four fire-breathing dinos, four sleepy aliens and a Blast. The bonus fruit is the 15,000-point orange.

Round 34

This round has seven dug up areas, three boxes and six monsters: two fire-breathing dinosaurs, two sleepy aliens and two spike heads. The bonus fruit is the 16,000-point apple.

Round 35

Featured in this round is five dug up areas; two big, three small, six ball rocks and ten monsters: six fire-breathing dinosaurs and four sleepy aliens. The bonus fruit is the 16,000-point apple.

Round 36

Five dug up areas, five rocks: three giant, two ball ones and eight fire-breathing dinos are shown in this level. The bonus fruit is the 16,000-point apple.

Round 37

Eight monsters: two fire-breathing dinosaurs, two spike heads and four sleepy aliens, two ball rocks and two boxes are featured in this level. The bonus fruit is the 17,000-point kiwi.

Round 38

Two dug up spaces, including a rectangular one around you are featured along with three boxes and seven monsters: four sleepy aliens, two fire-breathing dinosaurs and a Blast. The bonus fruit is the 17,000-point kiwi.

Round 39

This round reads "Time - Up" vertically. There are seven monsters: three dinos, two Fygars and two sleepy aliens. Three ball rocks are present. The trick in the round is that time is already almost up, which causes the "Hurry Up!" message to appear and the enemies move faster. The bonus fruit is the 17,000-point kiwi.

Round 40

The fourth boss is another giant Pooka in which you use the Ray Gun to defeat it. It takes 32 shots to defeat it. 76,500 point bonus are awarded when done.

Round 41

The dirt path is shaped like an X. Three boxes and eight monsters: four fire-breathing dinos and four sleepy aliens are in it too. The bonus fruit is the 18,000-point lemon.

Round 42

You start in the centre of the round where there are many boxes to crush; do this to dig up more of the board with eight monsters: two of each Fygar, two fire-breathing dinos and two sleepy aliens. The bonus fruit is the 18,000-point lemon.

Round 43

Here, you will see five dug up areas, four Dig Dug rivals and four ball rocks. The bonus fruit is the 18,000-point lemon.

Round 44

You start out in a circular dug up space with two boxes, a ball rock and eight monsters: two spike heads, two sleepy aliens and four fire-breathing dinosaurs. Make your way to the ball rock and boxes to clear the level faster. The bonus is the 19,000-point donut.

Round 45

Here, when begun, you'll see 12 separated fire-breathing dinosaurs in 13 dug up areas plus two giant rocks to crush them with. The bonus is the 19,000-point donut.

Round 46

Four open T-shaped dirt areas, three boxes and three Dig-Dug rivals are featured in this round. The bonus is the 19,000-point donut.

Round 47

Seen in this round are nine open dirt areas, four ball rocks and twelve monsters: six Fygars: four regular, two fast and six fire-breathing dinosaurs. The bonus is the 20,000-point cherry pie.

Round 48

Two ball rocks and twelve monsters: two of each Fygars, four fire-breathing dinosaurs and four sleepy aliens are shown in this level. The bonus is the 20,000-point cherry pie.

Round 49

The semi-final level has four boxes and 12 enemies: two Dig Dug rivals, two sleepy aliens, four dinos and two of each Pooka starting in the top right and bottom left split in half. The final bonus is the 20,000-point cherry pie.

Round 50

The fifth and final boss is the giant Fygar. Like boss #2, use the Ray Gun and shoot at it 32 times to defeat it. It breathes extra long fire. A 100,000 point bonus is awarded if defeated. The only monsters coming out the doors are fire-breathing dinos.

"Way to go! this time you really have conquered all round! To come this far you must be a skilled player. Come back and play again!"

  • Clear bonus: 10,000 (normal).
  • Stock bonus: # of lives left x 1000.
  • Rock bonus: # of items dropped.
  • Total: sum of the previous three.
  • Your score: score after completing round 50 + total (you should have between 700,000 and 800,000).
