Enter the Matrix control system is extremely basic. So far the controls are only shown the GameCube version. The other control version will come soon.
Walking, running, shooting
- : Move Ghost or Niobe. Tap forward to sidle against the wall. If the obstacle is low, you'll automatically crouch behind it. In first person view or sniper view, the allows you to look around and/or aim the sniper weapon.
- : Switch between first and third person view.
- /: Switch between the weapons.
- : Action context sensitive in the following things: Doors, pick up object, activate object, holster weapons, strangle opponent from behind.
- : Draw and fire weapon.
- : Use secondary weapons like grenades. If your enemy has been targeted, you'll throw at them.
- : Jump through obstacles. Hold to grab the ledge. To reach further areas, you can hold to increase the jumping distance.
- : Focus or slowing down time. Hold the button to use for a Matrix-enhanced set of abilities.
- : Target lock the opponents. Also use it for strafe if you hold the while moving the control stick left or right.
- : Pause the game. Press it again to continue the game.
Sniper Mode
Hand to Hand Combat
Driving - When playing as Niobe (Driver)
- or : Steer the car.
- or : Accelerate.
- or : Brake. To reverse, press and hold while the vehicle has stopped.
- //: Look left/right/behind.
- : Emergency brake.
- : Switch between first and third person view.
- : Hold to make Ghost assist. Be wary there is a limit of use of Ghost that if you use it up, you have to wait about a minute before you use it again.
When playing as Ghost (Riding shotgun, shooting from passenger's seat)
Hovercraft flying - When playing as Niobe (Pilot)
- or : Steer the hovercraft.
- : Accelerate.
- : Decelerate. To reverse, hold the button after the hovercraft has stopped.
- : Fire forward cannon.
When playing as Ghost (Gunner)
You can choose the alternate configuration at the game's option's menu.
