Table of Contents

This will be a guide to the Eternal Lands MMORPG. In order to play the game, you will need to download and install the game client. A link to the client is provided at the bottom of this page.

Player Characters

Before you play, you have to choose the name, race and appearance of your character. That's all you specify; everything else (your skills, abilities and alignments) is developed in the game.

Races

There are six races for player characters. There are 3 free races: Human, Dwarven and Elven and 3 pay-to-play races: Draegoni, Orcan and Gnomish. There are currently no advantages or disadvantages to any of them other than books being available to give a combat bonus while fighting any of the 3 races. However, player combat is only allowed in some areas of the world so this can be easily avoided.

Basic Attributes

Physique, Coordination, Reasoning, Will, Instinct & Vitality

Cross Attributes

Might, Matter, Toughness, Charm, Reaction, Perception, Rationality, Dexterity & Ethereality

Nexuses

Human, Animal, Vegetal, Inorganic, Artificial & Magic

Experience

Character will advance in experience through the use of skills. When enough experience points accumulate, the character will advance a level and gain a Pick Point to spend on their characters attributes or perks. All characters begin the game at level 5 to allow them some points to customize their character initially.

Perks

There are numerous positive and negative perks available in the game.

Positive Perks

Artificer, Body Piercing, Careful Guy, Conjurer, Evanescence, Excavator, Fast Regeneration, Fatal Man, I Glow In The Dark, Mirror Skin, Monster Magnetism, No More Tears, Powersaving, Self Destruction, There Is No Fork
