Another way to win way ahead of Riku is to turn right immediately when the race starts and drop (jumping will take longer air time) down to the ground. Run straight for the wooden steps across a bit of shallow water up to a sandy platform, and then drop down the other side. Head for the slope, jump across the grassy platforms, and to the star. Then, instead of jumping across the treetops, drop down again and backtrack your path to where Kairi is. You'll just have to aim the jump up to the sand platform a bit to make it up, and then jump to to Kairi's level. | |||
