Dyna Blade is the second main game mode, and also considered one of the easiest. You can unlock it by clearing Spring Breeze.

The massive bird Dyna Blade has destroyed Dreamland's crops, and Kirby heads out to stop it from happening again. There are four stages separating the pink hero from his main foe.

Secret Stages

If you can beat Spring Breeze, you can beat Dyna Blade. However, there are two secret stages in this mode, each packed with a wide selection of abilities for the taking. Although this mode can be completed without the secrets, you won't be able to achieve 100% game completion like that. You must open the secret stages by pressing giant switches in normal stages. If you've cleared the normal stage before, you can exit back to map after you hit the switch; there's no need to go all the way through it.

Secret Stage Switch #1

The first switch is found in the second stage, in the second room (the large, yellow and orange room). On the second floor of this room, you'll find a mess of orange blocks, and a bomb block in the middle of them. You can copy a nearby Simirror to gain the Mirror ability, then use Reflect Force (hold the attack button) to break the bomb block in the center. This will open the secret room with a giant switch inside. Jump on the switch, and the first secret level will appear on the map.

The following abilities can be found in the first secret stage:

  • Cutter
  • Mirror
  • Fighter
  • Beam
  • Fire
  • Plasma
  • Ninja
  • Sword
  • Bomb
  • Hammer

If you drop down to the lower part of the room, you'll also find a Maxim Tomato.

Secret Stage Switch #2

The second switch is found in the fourth stage. This one's a little less obvious, but is still easy to find if you're looking for it. There's a room with stone blocks that, when destroyed, reveal lava. (If you hit a block with an ability and it doesn't turn into lava, you're probably in the wrong room.) Go left, and you'll find a door hidden just off screen. Enter it to find the second switch room.

The following abilities can be found in the second secret stage:

  • Wheel
  • Yo-yo
  • Wing
  • Stone
  • Parasol
  • Jet
  • Ice
  • Suplex
  • Copy

You'll also find a Maxim Tomato, a Crash-ability enemy, and a few ability-less enemies.
