Mario Party/Bowser's Magma Mountain
Bowser's Magma Mountain is the first of the two unlockable stages. You must play the six default boards and then buy this stage at the mushroom shop for 980 coins to unlock it. This difficult stage was made by Bowser himself.
The players start at the bottom right corner of the board and must make their way up to the top of the mountain. Along the way you can try to take shortcuts by paying junctions 10 coins, causing a roulette block to appear above the player. If the player gets the star, they can pass but if they get Bowser's face, they have to take the long way without a refund.
Once you get to the top of the mountain, two branches and another roulette block will appear. If you get a star, you get to meet Boo but if you get Bowser, he will either steal coins or a star. Both paths lead back to the beginning.
If you land on a happening space, all blue spaces turn to red spaces for two turns.
At the end of the game, the winner's stars form into a large star that charges up and destroys the volcano part of the mountain that Bowser is in, sending him flying upward and falling back down on his side. As Bowser wallows in pain, the winner will jump on him then in front of him as the players in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place watch. Toad, Koopa, Boo, and the star soon join them.
