Alternate Costumes

• Ashrah - Defeat the Ice Beast you encounter in Arctika. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Baraka - Defeat all of the enemies in the last room of the Tekunin Warship. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Bo' Rai Cho - Defeat all of the enemies in the first room of the Shinnok's Spire. Open the chest that appears afterwards
• Cyrax - Destroy all of the enemies in the third room of the Tekunin Warship. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Dairou - Open the chest at the end of the area in Arctika before entering the last area to the Lin Kuei Palace.
• Darrius - In a chest hidden by a pile of snow to the left at Arctika, after fighting Rain.
• Drahmin - Kill the Flying Demon in Netherrealm Cliffs launching a Fireball, after defeating Drahmin. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Ermac - In a chest by the left wall in the room where you are attacked by the Red Commandos for the second time at the Argus Temple.
• Frost - Break all the windows in the chamber of the Lin Kuei Palace where Frost was trapped in ice. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Fujin - Defeat all of the enemies in the Krimson Forest. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Goro - In an invisible chest in the section the the right at the entrance of the Shao Kahn's Fortress.
• Havik - Defeat all of the enemies at the second room of the Shinnok's Spire. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Hotaru - In a chest close to the wall in the second room of the Tekunian Warship.
• Hsu Hao - In a chest on the right walkway after you wake up on the Tekunian Warship.
• Jade - Defeat all of the enemies in the first room of the Lin Kuei Palace. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Jarek - Open the chest to the left next to the door of the Lin Kuei Palace which leads to Frost's chamber.
• Jax - Once you enter Arctika, turn around and go to the left to find an invisible chest.
• Johnny Cage - Defeat the Tengu Guards at the beginning of Arctika and open the chest that appears.
• Kabal - In an invisible chest to the right of the last sectionof the Botan Jungle, before facing Kabal.
• Kai - In an invisible chest at the right near the gate in Arctika which leads to the Lin Kuei Palace.
• Kano - In an invisible chest near the left wall once you enter the last room of the Temple of Argus. (Retrive it immediately.)
• Kenshi - Defeat all of the Tengu Ninjas with the given sword in Arctika.
• Kintaro - Light the torch with a Fireball at the last section of the Shao Kahn's Fortress after having defeated Reiko and before encountering Raiden. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Kira - Step on the Giant Spider in Botan Jungle and open the chest that appears.
• Kitana - Perform a Fatality on Wi Lae, leader of the Tengu Ninjas. (The announcer will say "Finish Him!" after Taven says "You are free to go.") Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Kobra - There is an invisible chest in the corner of the wall behind the first monolih you encounter. (In the Botan Jungle.) Open it to retrive the costume.
• Kung Lao - In a chest to the right, once you enter the Temple of Argus.
• Li Mei - In an invisible chest at the second room in the Shinnok's Spire.
• Liu Kang - Near the entrance door in the Shao Kahn's Fortress.
• Mavado - In an invisible chest in the area where you will battle Mavado at the Red Dragon Caverns.
• Mileena - Press the pannel with a Ground Pound in the room of the Shao Kahn's Fortress where you fought Mileena. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Motaro - In an invisible chest in the last area of the Netherrealm Cliffs.
• Nightwolf - Open the first chest that appears at the end of the Edenian Ruins, before the battle with Scorpion.
• Nitara - Open the chest at the second area of the Netherrealm Cliffs, before the encounter with Drahmin.
• Noob - Destroy all the enemies in the third room of the Lin Kuei Palace, after dealing with Sub-Zero. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Quan Chi - Step on the Rat in the Red Dragon Caverns and open the chest that appears.
• Raiden - Open the chest to the left of the room in the Shao Kahn's Fortress where dwells the Giant Shao Kahn Statue.
• Rain - Open the chest at the end of the area in Arctika where you are attacked by Red Dragon Spies and before you meet Rain.
• Reiko - Open the chest in the section to the left at the entrance of the Shao Kahn's Fortress.
• Reptile - Destroy all of the enemies at the second area of the Red Dragon Caverns. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Sareena - Defeat Sareena, Kia and Jataaka in the Red Dragon Caverns. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Scorpion - Open the third chest that appears, or the second to the left, at the end of the Edenian Ruins, before the fight with Scorpion.
• Shang Tsung - Press the pannel with a Groung Pound at the area of the Shao Kahn's Fortress where Skull is. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Shao Kahn - Destroy the Giant Shao Kahn Statue in the Shao Kahn's Fortress and open the chest that appears.
• Sheeva - Light the torch with a Fireball at the beggining of the last area of the Shao Kahn's Fortress, before you face Reiko. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Shinnok - Open the chest at the second area of the Netherrealm Cliffs.
• Shujinko - Defeat the Executioner in the Shao Kahn's Fortress and release Shujinko. Open the chest that appears afterwards.
• Sindel - Open the chest that appears after completing all the challenges at the Obelisk in the Netherrealm Cliffs: or destroy all the enemies at the beggining of the Edenian Ruins and open the chest that appears.
• Smoke - Open the chest that appears after getting rid of Smoke in the Lin Kuei Palace.
• Sonya - In an invisible chest to the left of the gate in the area of Arctika where you encountered Sonya.
• Stryker - Open the chest in near one of the portals that shoots fireballs in the Lin Kuei Palace.
• Sub-Zero - Open the chest to the right of the room of the Lin Kuei Palace where you met Sub-Zero.
• Tanya - Open the chest in one of the dungeons in the Shao Kahn's Fortress.
• Taven - Open the fourth chest that appears, or the second to the right, at the end of the Edenian Ruins, before meeting Scorpion.
