Snowboard Kids 2, released in Japan as Chou Snobow Kids, was the second game in the Snowboard Kids series. Although it was never released in the United Kingdom, it can be imported. It features the same characters as the first game, but with some new faces: Wendy, Damien, Mr. Dog, and Coach. The game supports up to 4 simultaneous players. Unlike the original Snowboard Kids, you don't need a Controller Pak to save game data; it saves right on the Game Pak.

Characters

File:Snowboard Kids 2 Screenshot.png
Tommy, Slash, Jam, Mr. Dog
Coach, Linda, Wendy, Nancy, Damien

Slash Kamei

Age 10, Male, Balance Type

Slash is the most balanced character in the game with average stats on speed, turning and jumps. He is seen throughout the game to be mischievous and is usually shown alongside Jam annoying the girls. very good for beginners

  • Speed 2
  • Turn 2
  • Trick 2

Nancy Neil

Age 10, Female, Trick Type

Nancy is very good at turning and jumps but is very slow and so is often used for the courses with harder turns or stunt mode. On the story mode she is seen to be passive and seems unaffected by the constant fighting between Slash, Jam and Linda. Nancy is a sweet girl.

  • Speed 1
  • Turn 3
  • Trick 3

Jam Kuehnemund

Age 10, Male, Balance Type

Jam is another balanced character similar to Slash. As well as snowboarding he is also seen breakdancing. He is usually seen with Slash causing havoc or taunting Linda. He is definitly the coolest snow board kid.He likes Linda.

  • Speed 1 1/2
  • Turn 2 1/2
  • Trick 2 1/2

Linda Maltinie

Age 11, Female, Speed Type

Linda is the second fastest of the non-secret characters but has slightly lacking turning and jump stats. She is often shown in the games story to be snobby, irritable and very competitive, because of this she is frequently a target of Slash and Jam's combined taunting. Linda is also very rich. She likes Jam.

  • Speed 2 1/2
  • Turn 1 1/2
  • Trick 1 1/2

Tommy Parsy

Age 10, Male, Speed Type

Tommy is sometimes a bully, other times he's goofy, but Tommy seriously lacks self control and focus. He could fall off with ease. but his speed is good.He is good for more experienced playes who like speed and no tricks.

  • Speed 3
  • Turn 1
  • Trick 1

Wendy Lane

Age 8, Female, Trick Type

Wendy is a new addition to the snowboard kids series and is similar to Nancy but has even more focus on jumps and turning and less focus on speed. She is a specialist character used mainly for stunt mode, on the story she is shown as an inventor making a spaceship and shrink ray. She also invented the rocket, which is an item you can use in Snowboard Kids 2.She may look dorky but she is a good steerer but slow. She likes Slash.

  • Speed 1
  • Turn 3
  • Trick 3

Damien

Age Unknown, Male, ???? Type

Damien is the best of the balanced characters and is unlocked after beating him in story mode. Throughout the story he is constantly trying to interfere with the other kids games or activities but his plans fail (usually comically) and is often caught in the crossfire of the others arguments. He is cool looking and fast but you cant see him cause he is behind the sign. It's possible that he likes Nancy.

  • Speed 2 1/2
  • Turn 3
  • Trick 1 1/2

Coach

Age Unknown, Male?, Trick Type

The best character for stunts but also the slowest in the game. Therefore Coach is like Nancy.I dont think anyone should pick him.

  • Speed 1
  • Turn 3
  • Trick 3

Mr. Dog

Age Unknown, Male, Speed Type

The fastest character in the game but has trouble navigating simple turns or jumping trivial gaps in the course. He is the owner of the shop in both games and has the same Corner & Trick stats as Tommy.

  • Speed 3
  • Turn 1
  • Trick 1

Boards

There are three sets of boards that you have to use during normal mode, Balance, Trick, and Speed, with three levels each. You get the v1 of each set at the beginning of the game. During the game you can buy upgrades for each of the sets, each upgrade increases the speed of the board.

Balance Boards

Balance Boards are, as the name suggests, balanced in stats. All three levels have Turn and Jump at a solid 4 and L1 has speed at 3 and each level it goes up by 2 points.I recomend them for all tracks.

Trick Boards

The name, just like all the sets, says it all, this board is for tricks. It has Turn and Jump at a very high 5, but L1 only starts out with 2 speed, and with every level adds 2.

Speed Boards

Speed boards are made for speed, and it shows. This set has its Turn and Jump at 3, which makes it very hard to control, but L1 has its Speed at 4, and gains 2 more points every level.

Special Boards

Poverty Board

A below par board which constantly drains your money, best avoided.

Feather Board

A board that always has great jump stats. Useful for tricks.

Ice Board

A reasonably fast board but has atrocious turning.

Star Board

The best all round board with good speed, turning and jumping.

Rich Board

An above average board which constantly increases money and so is often used to get money to buy other boards.

Dragon Board

A board that always has a rocket and wings attached, its similar to the ice board in that it has the worst turning in the game. You can get this board by beating the dinosaur in the Crazy Jungle stage in Expert Mode.

Ninja Board

A board that makes the player invincible. But very poor speed.

Charm Board

An above average board which prevents the player being hit with ghosts

High-Tech Board

A very good board which always has a fan attached.

The last moderately hard level due to alligators and very tight turns.

Crazy Jungle (Boss Stage)

  • Length: 1,603m

A replay of the previous Crazy Jungle level in which the character races against a dinosaur, this is made very hard because the dinosaur will trample you if you get close and will lay eggs as its moving to attempt to trip you up.

  • Wendy also takes a shortcut in this course.

Starlight Highway

Ice Land

A replay of the previous Ice Land level in which you must fight against a giant robot version of Damien while he is constantly attacking you with all the different items.

An easy level which features the street which all the kids live on, it is notable for its 2 very large jumps in the middle of the level. This course is also used in the time and shot modes of the game. After the large 2nd jump, there are trees. You can go through them. Very useful shortcut.
